Oxford MagniMate OX764 for Motorcycle Side Stand Support, Fluo. Magnetic Side Stand Plate

I needed a side stand foot support for the triumph tiger, this is perfect because of its size, another great about is the colour, you'll never forget it, this will stop most bikes from sinking on grass etc, I would recommend this product to you bikers out there. Many thanks.

Purchased this for when I went touring on my motorbike for when parked on wet or grassy ground. Found it very good and I like that it has a magnet to hold it on to the side stand if you need to move the motorbike around.

This is a nice strong, well shaped puck in highly visible day-glo green. It slips into the pocket of my leather or wax-cotton jackets easily. It's a little expensive for what it is and I'm not sure that being magnetic helps in any practical way in the real world - okay it does stick to the stands foot when you take the bike off the stand, so maybe that's what they were thinking, but it's no real advantage. I would probably spend less and get 3 normal solid plastic pucks.

Does the job well

This device works well but I can't work out why there is a magnet inside. It isn't powerful enough to do anything useful. I can't, for example, reach down and put the puck on the side stand before swinging the stand down. There are cheaper pucks that do the same job. The bright colour is good though, making it less likely I'll leave it behind.

Magnet could be stronger but generally the Puck works. Sadly I have had to star down as the box had obviously been opened before I received it and the Puck had a very clear stand mark on it. If I wanted used I would have expected a big discount. If you buy new, you expect new. Product passable, seller questionable.
