This SmallRig suction cup mount is very well made, it looks and feels like a premium product. It works very well, with strong suction. I'm generally very happy with this product, but it is a little on the pricey side. It is without doubt a top quality product, and you do get what you pay for, so if you can handle the price, it's an easy product to recommend for the application.

This is a straightforward suction cup mount that works very well. It secures tightly and feels safe to use with your camera equipment.

This mount is ideal for producing stunning car photography or videos but the suction is unreliable.The SMALLRIG Camera Mount is made primarily of strong NBR and has an aluminium-alloy suction cup with multiple mounting points, including a built-in NATO Rail for attaching Super Clamp 3757, 1/4"-20 threaded holes for attaching Magic Arm 3873, and 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes for attaching Magic Arm 2115. It has a static load capacity of 50kg for horizontal and 35kg for vertical, and a dynamic load capacity of up to 2 kilograms at speeds less than 80km/h.I like how the mount is well-made and not easily deformed. It holds well, is manually pumped and locked, and includes a safety-line indicator to ensure safety and dependability. This camera mount is simple to install on car windows and other clean, smooth surfaces. It also has a rotation and tilt function, allowing for unique shooting angles.However, although the suction force seems to hold well frankly with a £2,500 camera and lens sat on it I am still very nervous it may fall off or cause the camera to move or shake while filming.Overall, though this is ideal for professional photography or videography.

I'm a bit of a SmallRig fan and own a number of their items, they are always decent quality for a decent price and are rugged and built to last - this is why I was so disappointed with the suction cup. Feature-wise you for the size it is great, lots of different connection options to add magic arms, action cam mounts etc so what's wrong? The suction didn't work - glad I tested before use because the vaccum failed within about 2 minutes, tried on clean dry glass and it just wouldn;t hold. I'm hoping this was a defected item but having never been let down by SmallRig this was a disapointment and force a purchase of a different brand which has been 100% out of the box. Amazon have refunded the item quickly but I'd say test and test again before putting your expensive kit on this suction mount (always add a tether as well)

Mounted this to the inside of my car window and, against my better judgment, decided to put a camera onto it immediately. Luckily it wasn't my most expensive camera... As soon as the vehicle went over a bump, the mount, with the camera, fell off and landed on the floor.This is such a shame as I have always trusted this brand and they've never failed me in the past.

I got this for use on my GoPros as i use 2 at a time and wanted to be able to stick to car windscreen while filmingFirst off arrived in branded box, on removing your meet with suction cup and a bag to store it in, the object is well made and to be honest gives a vast amount of ways to attach cameras. Myself i use the screw option and rail depending on what i am doing.So i set it up and before putting on the Cameras and first off testing on the porch door i placed it on after removing the cover and pumped until it would not pump any more it appeared to hold well i gave it a little tug and i thought i would leave it for a while to see what would happened, well bare in mind this is a stationary test about 35 mins later i heard a crash i came into find the cameras and mount on the floor. Was a little disappointed, however i will give it another try when im back home in a week but based on first use i was not that impressed.I will update once i try again

I’m a big fan of smallrig products and have several of their items in my collection. This new addition is as good as I expected. Easy to apply, remove the dust cover and then place against a smooth object like glass or metal. Pump the handle to create a good seal. Once the white marker stays down it’s ready to use. Keep your eye on the marker for loss of suction. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with and attachments and I don’t have the right clamps for my camera so I can’t try it until I get the right one. I was able to test the rig though on the window and car bonnet. Both stayed solid for 2 hours plus and I had to pry them off when finished testing. Once my clamp arrives I’ll be happy to use on the door of the car or on the window. Very well made and very strong.

The media could not be loaded. On une ventouse pour y installer une caméra ou un appareil photo de très très bonne qualité. Elle est livrée avec une housse de transport et une protection de la ventouse en plastique souple.Pour l utilisation rien de plus simple, on positionne la ventouse à l endroit désiré sur une surface adéquate et on pompe avec le piston. Une fois installé ca devient un bloc très solide. J ai mis un poids de plus de 5 kg sur une surface en compact pendant plus de 7h et ça n à pas bouger.Pour l enlever il suffit de tirer à l endroit prévu sans forcer et le tour est joué.Une ventouse d une exelente qualité, qui rassure , très bonne accroche et tiendra dans le temps. On peut y aller les yeux fermés.

Tutto il corpo è ben sigillato da viti.Ci sono tante opzioni di montaggio, tra viti da ¼” e NATO rail, potete trovarle tutte in descrizione del prodotto.L’utilizzo è molto semplice, basta pulire la superficie, posizionare la ventosa e usare la pompa a mano per rimuovere l’aria tra la ventosa e la superficie.Se si ha fatto tutto bene, resta attaccato molto saldamente.Il carico massimo varia a seconda della posizione della ventosa e se è in movimento.Il mio setup non è molto pesante, è sui 2 Kg (mirrorless APS-C Sony e obiettivo) e la ventosa va benissimo.La rimozione è un pochino difficile ma nulla di impossibile, bisogna tirare la ventosa con un po’ di forza attraverso i due punti laterali appositi. Tuttavia la colpa non è da attribuire a SmallRig, semplicemente è una caratteristica di prodotti di questa natura e indica semplicemente che la ventosa ha un’ottima presa.

Encore un produit de la marque Smallrig cohérent et d'une excellente qualité, d'un format relativement compacte 4" (10,16cm) c'est le plus petit modèle que propose la marque c'est tout de même un model qui accepte un poids recommandé de 10kg en traction verticale et 4kg avec un bras de levier de 23cm environ ces recommandations sont bien en dessous de ce que peut supporter ce produit le fabricant divisant au minimum par deux ses capacités.Le système de ventouse par pompe est pratique une fois la ventouse à poste c'est du solide pour le peu qu'on respecte bien l'utilisation sur matière lisse comme une carrosserie, du verre, de la tôle par exemple, j'ai effectué un test sur une tôle légèrement texturé et le résultat est impressionnant.Pour profiter pleinement de cette ventouse il faudra faire l'acquisition d'un ou deux bras magiques (articulées) la base en aluminium acceptant des vis au format photo 1/4 et 3/8" ou un rail NATO, c'est un produit rassurant lorsqu'on possède du matériel sensible, peu de chance que la ventouse se dérobe si on suit scrupuleusement les recommandations de la marque, un sans faute en ce qui me concerne, il existe un model 6" plus grand qui supportera 50% de poids en plus dont le prix est bien plus élevé.

Premetto che ho appena provato una ventosa di SmallRig specifica per l'utilizzo con le varie Action CAM, che mi ha davvero impressionato sia per la tenuta che per l'ottima fattura con cui è stata realizzata.Oggi è la volta di una ventosa ancora più "TOP", realizzata con un attacco che consente di montarci praticamente di tutto.Come potete vedere nel video, la ventosa è davvero grande ed utilizza una piccola pompetta per creare il sottovuoto necessario ad ancorarla alla superficie. Nel parte superiore è presente un morsetto dotato di varie filettature da 1/4" e 3/8" ed attacco compatibile con il sistema Nato.Stando a quanto dichiarato dalla casa è in grado di supporta un carico di 2Kg con tenuta fino ad 80 KM/H e tenendola in mano non faccio fatica a crederlo.Certo il prezzo di poco inferiore ai 70 euro la pone su un gradino abbastanza alto ma la qualità di Smallrig non si discute!Spero che questa recensione vi sia stata utile.
