Some of my health issues are auto-immune related, so anything that helps support my immune system is appreciated. After reading the description of this ProHealth Thymus sublingual, I thought I'd give it a try. It's convenient and easy to take, but it seems like timing (either before or after a meal) is one of my biggest hangups. It doesn't dissolve instantly and seemed to get a little gummy in my mouth, but that also served to keep me from just swallowing it instantly, and the flavor was pleasant, so that also helped keep me from gulping it down as soon as I took it. It's not a miracle tonic, so the jury is still out with regard to how well it does what it's supposed to.

I am giving this 5 stars based on ease of use, not on results. Who can know that? I learned after my first try with this powder to take a glass of my purified water first and make sure my mouth is good and hydrated. From there, my saliva kicked in and I was fine. There is about 1/4 tsp in each packet, which is less than I was thinking when I saw the packet. But the key to getting it liquidy was liquid. A totally dry mouth won't do it.Let's address the issue of what you do when the 3 minutes is up. You SWALLOW it if you want. The ingredients are only inactivated BEFORE you hold it in your mouth.From the package: Allow contents to dissolve under tongue BEFORE SWALLOWING, or proteinwill be inactivated by stomach contents. Go ahead and swallow it the way you do with homeopathics.

This is garbage, there is no consistency in the amount that you recive every dose is different amount 1 had nothing in it. Save yourself time go with a different product, and customer service is terrible

The contents of the pouch are a fine powder that needs to be placed under your tongue and held there for 3 minutes before swallowing. I think this is a good supplement to add to boost immunity, but not sure how necessary it is for general health.

The thymus is a bodily organ that helps produce an immune response, and in many people, as time passes, it shrinks.There is very little actual thymic protein in each packet...only 4 mcg. This is 4/1000th of a milligram. So, there is just a little speck of actual active ingredient per packet.The rest is made up of maltodextrin. I'm not a big fan of this as a base because maltodextrin is caloric and can raise blood sugar.To take this properly, the instructions suggest dumping the packet under your tongue and letting it absorb there for 3 minutes (it will get into the bloodstream sublingually). It does dissolve fairly quickly when you do that. The instructions suggest avoiding swallowing it because the body will digest the protein as regular protein.I haven't felt anything per se so far, but I also haven't been sick. It's hard to tell if it is having benefit, but could be worth a try.

Seems like a quality product, easy to use...just place a packet of powder under the tongue for 3 minutes and you're done. Obviously results with a product are hard to measure for the average person (that would be me) but I do feel like this stuff has made a difference in regards to my immune system. With 6 year old in school bringing home every germ known to man kind it's nice to know I'm taking steps to better protect myself.
