Enjoyable
Fun plane to assemble with good instructions. I personally would like to see more aircraft in the Ugears inventory. It’s sturdy and makes a good gift without the worry of it falling apart when used.

Hearing is to complex
The model looks good, but the multiple planetary gears cause a lot of friction. The pull spring sticks so that once you pull it, it never works again.

Great Ugears model
Fun to assemble, the structure is sturdy and it works perfectly (just follow carefully the instructions, sand and wax properly the mechanical parts). Highly recommended.

Exquisite puzzle that gave hours of pleasure.
Although the price may seem high, the complexity of the puzzle and the quality of manufacture makes it very good value. Being manufactured in Ukraine makes this even more attractive as a gift, for someone who enjoys using their hands to create conversation pieces of art.The pack comes with a beautifully illustrated 56-page Assembly Instructions book, itself a work of great design with a very clear workflow. Each page shows which plywood sheet the featured parts come from, keeping mistakes to a minimum. Close attention is needed for the construction and meticulous care when putting pieces together, but there are tips all the way through about how to complete each stage.Four numbered sheets of smooth plywood, 4mm thick and 360mm long x 165mm wide, contain all the die cut wooden parts, each individually numbered, ready to be pressed out in sequence. Also in the box are a steel spring, cords, rubber bands, small wax candle and a sheet of fine sandpaper for smoothing. One tool is provided, which is wooden part number H1, that, after removing from sheet 1, is used to ease pieces away from the plywood sheets. The instruction manual shows how it's used.No glue is needed to make the model as everything is so accurately cut that it fits together perfectly. Parts lock together when needed, but rotate and slide when required for movement. In a way this isn't a puzzle, because I don't think it would be possible to construct it without the excellent instruction book - guessing wouldn't work! But as an intellectual and physical challenge this really kept me engaged for many hours. The end result, a model aircraft with working mechanisms, all made from plywood, is a truly wonderful piece of modern sculpture. It's probably only possible using computers to design and cut the components. I haven't made any changes to the final appearance of the wooden model because it looks so impressive as it is.In my opinion this is worth every penny as a gift for someone special who loves a crafting or modelling challenge.
