Easy enough to install and look ok on the cedar boxes I make. However they is cheap, not much to them. However, what does ya expect out a exotic China. 😉

These are very small and flimsy, only use for ascetic purposes. Easily bendable and rusts

Ok so these are nod solid brass but they are a good value for the cost. They are stamped steel so be careful when tightening the screws or they will become distorted. The hinges do work freely and are flat out of the package. The latches are stamped steel but do work smoothly and will hold well. I use these mostly for small trinket boxes that I give away. If you want heirloom quality, these are not the ones to buy, but if you are on a budget, these are well worth the cost. A plus is they come well packaged with the screws in a separate bag for easy sorting. These are good for the cost and recommended.

These work, but seem to maybe be more for aesthetics? It depends on what you application is. If you're making quality things and want "real" latches..this might not be the set you want. The latches are "hallow" if that make sense. These will work for what I need.

The holes in the pieces are different sizes and some are so big that they slip over the screw heads. I didn’t notice this when I was adding one onto a piece I was working on and it is now completely destroyed. There are also several pieces with big scratches in the finish under the latch. I am livid and the only reason I’m not returning is that I don’t have time to drop it off.
