I didn't realise that the information in it is all tailored for Americans and the fact that it assumed I was a parent made it even more irrelevant for me. I found the book's tone very judgemental - it did not acknowledge that people in debt are already ashamed and embarrassed and if anything should be encouraged that they are taking steps to face up to and remedy their situation.
