Robust, easy to apply and strong adhesive
I first purchased this product to replace the glass gaskets in my wood stove renovation project.Pros:- Being self-adhesive made my application much easier.- Its thickness and hardness were exactly what I wanted.- It was easy to cut- I also used this rope as a gasket in the additional intermediate pipe connections, the adhesives did a good job even in the narrow gap there!Cons:- Not for now, I will update it as soon as the stove is on.

Came quick easy to stick but have to buy glue separately

It was easy to use and seems good value
We took our woodburners glass out, cleaned the glass and removed the remnants of the old rope. Applying and cutting the new rope was easy, it stuck well and when the glass was put back the rope created a good seal. A huge improvement. Recommended.

Buy additional adhesive
Stove rope is very good quality but I’m afraid the self adhesive strip is not great. I bought additional adhesive and it worked fine.

Perfect fit
