I utterly love this book & I very rarely bother to write reviews.. It is just the right amount of interesting information on different artists & is a balanced combination of photos, diagrams & writing. It is clearly organised chronologically in each century & then alphabetically too. Great to browse through or check up on details.My one ‘complaint’ is that it’s a fairly heavy book- you could definitely use it in a work out!!

A great book, a concise and well illustrated guide on history of art. Has all the most important information about the artists, their lives and their styles.
