Creative Haven Birds Color by Number Coloring Book

Very good! I think an improvement would to provide pencils with it as a package as it took me a while to match up my own pencils to the colours in the book. But a lot of fun!

Lovely wee colouring book

As in other books of this series, it contains wonderful pictures, but there are missing numbers in every picture. Fortunately you can guess the colour by looking on a given coloured miniatures. Also, the numbers are rather light and small so you can doubt if it is 1 or 4 or 7.

Bought as a present for my elderly mother. She really enjoys this and other colouring books. Because of her eye sight she has to use a magnifying glass to see the numbers. I am sure it must be helping with her cognitive ability especially hand eye co-ordination.

nice book but numbers are to small need magnifier to see them even my granddaughter said they are to small her eyesight is perfect

I am new, weeks, to coloring and knew I needed to start with the adult coloring by numbers before trying without a guide. After watching a lot of YouTube videos and purchasing some recommended items based upon "expert" artists for beginners...here are two items I would like to share with the Amazon family. I had a challenge matching the recommended colors; however, I think they came out rather contemporary and vibrant! I used Bianyo alcohol based inks with the exception of three items - prismacolor premier pencil for shading (I actually didn't like this look - likely because, I don't know how to shade well, YET!) and Arteza face tones marker (A602) and prismacolor (PM-38). All of the marker did bleed - thus I had place paper behind the image of interest. Sadly, I accidentally stroked the adjacent image (back-side) and this did bleed into the other image (will try to make it part of the picture at some point). The images have so much detail I had to use a lamp with magnifying lens. Overall, I looking forward to coloring a few items from this book and turn into gifts! I hope you enjoy. I will try without numbers, someday!!
