Burgon & BallRHS Stainless Hand Trowel, 30 cm Length

As a professional gardener tools very quickly show their weaknesses in regular use. I've had this a few weeks now and used it in all soils including dry concrete type clay and it's holding up well. Obviously for dividing and lifting perennials you need something bigger but for normal duties this is great and is so comfortable to use. Love that it's make in Yorkshire.

After looking at a number of different brands most looked to have a thin neck, which in the past is where previous trowels have failed. This product has a sturdy neck and looks to have been forged rather than welded so no obvious weak points. Time will tell but so far very happy !

Bought this to replace a trowel that had mysteriously disappeared. Having a small 3 pronged hand rake from B & H over 10 years old and still going strong I had no qualms about quality. Very happy with it. Highly recommended.

I 'm heavy handed with garden tools and was frustrated by the number of trowels that I've bent or broken. This feels very solid, much heavier that most and no hint of bending. It also looks great, but that wasn't a factor in my choice. So, it's early days yet, but I'm well pleased with my purchase.

A very solid tool that feels nice to hold. Worth paying the money for this; it will last for many years.

Just what I wanted, very sturdy but oh! so expensive. Should have gone to another supplier.

Godd strudy trowel. Decent size blade. Great to use.
