sturdy and foolproof
This is a pretty simple item and I don't have a ton to say about it. I wanted to make some homemade soap (and I didn't want to do it in my silicone muffin cups), so I bought this. One pound of typical shea butter/glycerine soap base makes about 5 bars of soap, more if you have add-ins (like oats or coffee grounds for exfoliation, etc.). I like that this is silicone -- you can pour hot soap directly into it and it won't break down. It's essentially nonstick and easy to remove soap from it (because you can sort of peel it back from the soap bars if they don't come out easily). It's also easy to clean. But leave the soap in it for at least a few hours, or even overnight, until it's cool to the touch, before trying to remove it.You'll get standard rectangular bars of soap with this and you won't have to cut them down to size. It's heat safe so if you are so inclined, you can use it for cooking (up to slightly less than 450 degrees). You can also put it in the dishwasher. Definitely worth the money!

Makes nice smooth bars...
This mold produces smooth even soap bars and they pop out quite easily. I make cold pressed soap in small batches so this mold is the right size for me. When I pour my mixture into these molds the temperature of it is quite low.. usually just slightly warm. I wouldn't recommend putting a very hot soap batch in this mold as the sides are fairly thin. I'd worry about the silicone breaking down and teeny particles mixing with the soap base. We'll see over time how well this holds up to multiple uses. I had to get rid of a wooden mold because it finally fell apart. I thought a silicone mold would produce cleaner looking bars and be easier to extract. So far so good.Oh... just remember to have the mold on something flat BEFORE you pour the soap base. If you have to move the mold while the soap is still soft it'll mess up the soap as the mold is extremely flexible and flimsy in structure. I put my mold on a small board which made it easy to move out of the way after I was done pouring.

Soap Pops Right Out!
I make soap but I don't use this type of mold for the bulk of my soap. I bought these to use for the leftover soap I usually get after pouring the soap into my wood molds. Those would overflow if I tried to pour all of the soap into them. But these little silicone molds are perfect for my needs. The soap pops right out of them! That impressed me the most! The bars are a little smaller than I like and that is why I don't use them exclusively. I highly recommend the silicone molds for anything you want to pour into them!

easy soapmaking
This made nicely shaped bars of soap which I used for gift-giving. Easy to use and clean. Just make sure you have it on a cooky sheet or cutting board, etc. as you won't be able to lift it when full of soap liquid.

Uniform
I originally tried making soap using a large silicone loaf mold and cutting it. I found that I didn't like during it that way because it was not as uniform as I would have line. Using these silicone molds, you get a very crisp, nice bar of soap.

Perfect for Melt and Pour Soaps - No Soap Cutting Required.
I made some melt and pour soap today and used the Allforhome 6 cavity basic rectangle soap silicone mold. Worked perfect. The size is good however I prefer a larger bar. Because the material (silicone) is pliable, the soaps came out easy. A very convenient feature! I am planning on make lots more soap and will see how durable the mold lasts. The price is affordable so at this price, I bought two.

Best Soap molds
I love these soap molds! These are the best molds i have ordered by far. They are soft and made to easily pop out the soap once it has hardened. I like the deepness of each mold, allowing for a large soap that can be used over a period time. I also enjoyed that there are six molds per tray enabling you to make many soaps at once. I would recommend these molds to anyone undertaking soap making.
