Microplane34040E Adjustable Slicer with Julienne Blade Stainless steel / Black, 33.00 x 11.50 x 6.50 cm

It's very sharp and I'm scared of it! I bought it because I have a hand injury which prevents effective grip, so I bought Kevlar gloves to use with it. It's very efficient!

Disappointed with this item as no clear instructions given on the packaging and when you go on line as it suggests for more detailed instructions you are just shown all the other items they have produced. Eventually realised the need to push in two plastic clips to remove the Julienne blade so could use it to slice. However, I do feel these is not a safe item for most people. Even using the holder provided and taking care I still managed to nick a thumb. I purchased this as I though it may be safer than the normal mandolin I use but I am afraid it isn't. Please think carefully before buying this item especially if you are an older person.

Considering this is from Mircoplane I am shock at the quality of this device, cheap and nasty. I should return it really but is wasn't massive amount and it's too much trouble. Avoid this product and go for the more expensive models which is what I should have done. On a plus side the blade is sharp but that where anything good stops.

Useful for a quick go to but:The plastic frame/handle -grip shattered pretty soon after purchase and i had to superglue the unit to the metal frame. It has lasted the course since but this was an unwanted design flaw. Also the 3 thickness slider is flimsy - over-all - this is an adequate basic but wont replace more robust models.

Given one star because no facility for zero. The instruction foe assembly on package was"Refer to our website",what?! When eventually assembled my wife, a very experience cook, could not get it to julienne. SO IT IS OUT WITH THE GARBAGE WHERE IT BELONGS!

Mi opinión es la misma que Silvina Alejandra.El producto es malo. Nada que ver con el resto de productos microplane (los cuales utilizo hace años).La cuchilla pésima, apenas corta, se queda atascado lo que intentas cortar y es difícil sacarlo, el espesor de corte es mínimo, la cuchilla de juliana es de plástico barato, El accesorio para fijar el producto a cortar no pincha y entonces no se atrapa nada. Increíblemente malo!En cambio la mandolina simple (que es más pequeña y toda metálica) es una maravilla. Corte limpio y perfecto. Esta sin duda la recomiendo ,en cambio la de juliana no.

La lame coupe et tranche bien les fruit et legumes. Il y a 3 niveau de coupe et une deuxième lame dentelé. À voir sur une longue utilisation si la lame ne s emousse pas.

同社のフードグレーダーをとても気に入って愛用しているので、買いました。アタッチメントが最小限の仕様でパーツを入れ替えたりせずに厚さが調節出来て、「Microplane 」さん、流石の安定感でした。どうしても7cm以上のスライスが出来るものを探していた中で、一番使いやすかったです。コストの関係かプラスチックのパーツがある為、フードグレーダーの様に「食洗機対応」ではありませんが、扱いやすく、安全な商品だと思います。
