RomertopfMaxi Fresh Pot, Porcelain, 1,9 Kg

I like this pot because of its classic good looks and because it provides an ideal storage environment for onions. Its easy to clean, its a generous size, the inside is glazed and there are holes around the bottom of the pot so that the onions can 'breathe'. I haven't had any onions go 'bad' on me since using the pot.It took me quite some time to track down a terracotta storage jar for onions - I wanted one that would be a reasonable match for my terracotta potato pot and garlic pot that I've had for a few years now. I guess these things go in fashions and perhaps terracotta is not a current 'must have'. So I was pleased to find this one on Amazon, even though the price is rather steeper than I would have paid if I'd had more choice.The only thing is - I'd take issue with its name of Stock Pot - maybe its just me, but I don't associate such a name with storage but rather with a pot used to create a stock for casseroles etc. You'd come a cropper if you used this pot in that way!If you like terracotta pots and you like them to be terracotta-coloured then this is the storage jar for you. Oh, by the way - it comes extremely well packaged, its like playing 'Pass the Parcel' when you unwrap it!

I bought one of these pots and was so impressed with it I bought another, one for potatoes and another for fruit or more vegetables. I’m sorry I didn’t know about them sooner they cut down on an awful lot of waste. I’m very pleased with them.

I needed something to keep the potatoes in that would be nice sat on the work surface in the kitchen as I had kept them in the cupboard and they kept going mouldy, but this is great it's little pricey for what it is but it's glazed inside so it can be wiped out easily enough, the air holes stop it getting manky inside. It arrived really well packed and I couldn't be more pleased with it.

Product is nice. On advert potatoes printed on lid which is what I wanted but when mine came just a blank lid. Disappointed

Lovely quality. Tactile! Good size and look good in a kitchen setting..would look specifically for this brand for other products

The name say's it all Romertopf are excellent have two Roaster's medium and large would not be without them

I read that storing potatoes and onions together was not a good idea as it increased the rate of their decay. I bought this pot to store them separately and within easy reach. The stockpot looks very nice in a rustic way. It easily stores 2.5kg of potatoes and so far am happy with the purchase. I do think however that it is pricey. It arrived quickly and was very well packaged. The pot has been much admired & has encouraged other friends to get their own pots!

Das Töpfchen ist sehr hübsch. Der Knoblauch hält sich lange frisch. Der Deckel lässt sich leicht entfernen.

J'avais commandé un petit pot pour garder l'ail. Surprise, à la réception d'une énorme boîte très lourde ! A l'intérieur le même pot en terre d'un diamètre de 22 cm sur 26 de haut (mon petit pot devait faire moins de 10 cm.) Ceci dit, il est magnifique pour garder les pommes de terre par exemple. J'ai du le renvoyer car je n'ai vraiment pas la place pour le ranger. Mais si vous avez besoin d'un pot à pommes de terre ou oignons (peut contenir 2 à 3 kg), je vous le conseille, il est très beau, laqué à l'intérieur.

Un porta aglio di giuste dimensioni per circa 3-4 teste. Molto bello da vedere poichè rifinito con cura. Di terracotta grezza fuori, all'interno vi è L'invetriatura. I fori sono distribuiti attorno l parte inferiore

En primer lugar decir que no le pongo cero estrellas porque no me deja el sistema, lo compré porque me gustó el diseño tan bonito que tiene, pero en la práctica el producto es nefasto, ya no sólo porque no tiene capacidad ni para tres cabezas de ajos, sino porque éstos rápidamente ya sea la cabeza entera o los dientes de ajos cogen humedad dentro del barro (a pesar de tener esos dos pequeños agujeros, supuestamente para tener la humedad idónea para su mantenimiento por más tiempo). No lo he podido devolver porque tiré la caja de cartón en la que venía, pero nunca pensé que un recipiente aparentemente tan bonito y que se veía de tanta calidad fuera a hacer una función tan mala. No lo recomendaría en absoluto a nadie, es dinero tirado a la basura y bastante caro por cierto.
