Fantastic book. This has helped us so much beginning our journey into the lifestyle of goat keepers. We have a small herd of dairy goats to provide our home dairy needs on our permaculture farm in Scotland. While not new to small farming we were new to goats and needed the best 'go(at!) to' book available, this is it. The sections on feed, shelter and kidding have been the best and certainly gave us confidence when we knew our star milker was in Kid to be ready for the birth. We have been vlogging about our goats on the Tap o' Noth Farm Youtube Channel and this book has helped us feel we can now instruct others in some of the basics of holistic goat care.

Amazing book. Really like the author’s views. If there is a downside it’s that it’s American and there for not all of it is relevant that said I recommend this book to everyone who owns or is thinking of getting goats.
