Got for my step son (26 years old) collecting for years. Display only, lots of small parts that could get lost.

Ive been collecting the odd figure here and there for the last few years, and recently saw this here for £9.99 and thought why not? There are many Sin City figures available, some in colour and some in black and white/grey. Take my advice, whatever figure your deciding to get, get it in colour. The grey models are undoubtebly a cool/unique idea, but ask yourself whether the one you buy will look good with your other models, because although the scale of these 7" figures are perfect, the lack of colour in turn gives a lack of detail.I decided to buy this one because personally, I think Marv is the best character in the film. There are many different variations you can buy (Including the grey, one with plasters and one with just a vest) I decided on this one as it looked the most iconic and the price was good. The attention to detail is incredible, even in comparisson to some of my other figures. The head sculpt IS Mickey Rourke. The jacket has a nice rubber texture. He comes with quite alot of extras for a figure, including his gun Gladys, a hacksaw, a hatchet and a gas can, all of which are well sized and are fairly robust. The detail on his face is incredible, and although the plasters are cool in the film the open wounds here are just as awesome, I really cant say enough about the detail of this figure. The ONLY downside of this character is the lack of posability. There is articulation in the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists and knees, but none that can really offer freedom of movement beyond a simple spin of the joints. But if like me your happy with a base or slightly varied pose, dont let this detract from a truly detailed, truly iconic, well priced figure.
