Good value for money

If we are all completely honest there isn’t a denture adhesive in the world that’s absolutely perfect but after trying many different types my husband has decided that this particular fixodent is the best he’s tried. He has upper and lower partial dentures and sticks them in place after breakfast. He says that they then stay put until late evening so they see him through two meals a quite a few cuppas. Hot drinks always affect the glue so he feels this is a pretty good result. In his case the lower dentures never fix quite a well as the upper ones but they are comfortable enough not to cause problems for the bulk of the day. He hasn’t encountered any problems removing them but if you do have issues drink something hot as this weakens the glue. The fixodent is easy to apply and you find out how much you need by trial and error. Apparently it doesn’t taste bad but obviously you don’t want to over apply and end up with a mouth full. The nozzle on this particular brand is very good in helping you to apply small amounts and it doesn’t ooze out. This was a very economical way to buy these. It might be best to try one tube first and if it works as well for you then it’s a great way to stock up and save money. Overall my hubby is happy with this adhesive and I will continue to order it in bulk.

A: This product has lost a lot of performance over the last 3-4 years. I have always used fixodent, and find it does not hold well at all. This is supposed to be the strongest hold, but if half an hour after applying I drink a cup of tea and eat a soft roll, broken with fingers not bitten, I have to clean off and reapply because it’s loose. It’s performance although still better than others, is not good at all
