Works perfectly
Works as you would expect. Ethernet pass through (only the TX and RX pairs which is all you should need) and takes a POE feed from the input Ethernet to provide a 5 volt 2.4A USB feed. I used mine to connect a Heatmiser Neo Hub in a remote location that didn't have 240 volt power available. If you run into Ethernet issues, check your cables first. Not sure why some people posted a negative review, if faulty send back for refund/exchange. Simple. Great price as well.

perfect for powering devices with POE switch
loved this product, i used this to keep contstant power to my go pro which was around 30 meters away from any power sockets. all i had to do is get a POE injector and run the CAT 6 along to the camera and use the POE splitter to charge the device and keep constant power ensuring my timelapse camera does not die and ruin my shots

Works well as splitter
Works well as splitter and for charging via usb but was hoping it would also power up and connect a hard drive to network but didn’t work

perfect POE adaptor for iPads
I ordered one of these at first for testing purposes. I charged one of our iPad mini 5s and it charged brilliantly. I was so impressed and bought 5 more of these to charge all our iPads. Also tried to drain one of the iPads to 0% and attached this POE adaptor to see if will manage to wake it up from sleep (0%) and it did!. This adaptor is 5V (10Watts) and the other option was to purchase the VidapowerPOE adaptor (6V-12Watts) which does the same job but the price for Vidapower POE adaptor is £105.00 while this is £7.95.

Failed after less than a year.
Initially ran well; however after less than a year it has failed, it refused to power up. I've other DSLRKIT poe splitters which are still running well however this one has broken. Without buying another I won't know if it's a one off, however I'm not willing to take the risk.

Works a treat on my Hive
I have used so I can mount my Hive hub above one of my network sockets in the house and use PoE and the USB socket on this to power the Hive hub. Works an absolute treat.

Does the job
It’s connected to a iPad mini in wall set up it charges fine though very slow but as it’s a wall iPad only used a couple times a day this should not matter it’s well made and does what it says it should do
