Q: Can this rug be used in a bathroom?

I wouldn't, the faux fur is longish and super soft. I imagine it would feel pretty gross if it got wet and would take longer to dry. Half bath maybe. I absolutely love this rug though, it's really pretty! Hope that helps.

No the size of the rug is how u see it along side of the bed

The backing is more of a soft foam. Not rubber like you find on most area rugs.
