I was Amy Winehouse for a fancy dress party and this wig obviously completed the look wonderfully. It’s not the best quality wig, but for the price it fits the bill.

The party invite said 'Big hair and/or drag'. Being a baldy bloke, what could I do but go for both?!This wig hit the spot, no doubt. It looked just right and is good value for what is basically a fun party prop. The wig fitted OK, wasn't too scratchy and seemed to hold itself together well enough that we'll be able to use it again the next time someone throws a fancy dress party.

Purchased this wig for a Halloween party for an Amy Winehouse costume and did read quite a lot of reviews first. Thought I would give it a go as the positives outweighed the negatives and when it arrived I tried it on. Pretty much all the inside of the wig is not netted it's what I can only describe as weed guard material. It is also very big so doesn't sit on my head as well as it could. The area near the ears doesn't sit behind them it digs in so technically has to go over your ears if you dont want to be uncomfortable and I've had to cut off excess material right at the front that had no hair attached and tuck some of the fringe under as it does not sit well at all. The fringe has taken a long time and a lot of patience to style. The bee hive was as described in some other reviews like a cone head and looked ridiculous so I have had to grab the top of the beehive from inside the wig, pull it down and bunch it up and tie with a hair tie to make it smaller and normal looking. The hair is very very shiny and constantly knots up no matter how much you brush it. It isn't very thick either. I purchased a bandana for the look but also to cover the huge seam between the fringe and beehive. It is now a lot better than it was but shouldn't have had to go to all the extra effort. I would say if you have the patience to play around with this if needed go for it for the price, otherwise order a different wig and save your sanity.

This is a great wig for amy winehouse.

Wig is a very good likeness but has a thin card like backing which is hard to put hair pins through to hold it in place.Can understand it being in the beehive but a net backing would be better on the head piece
