They are just good.

We got this set to add to our technic projects, and it's been quite good. The kit includes various motors, a power supply / battery, a remote control / receiver, among others. Overall a good kit to start making projects with motion.The remote control, albeit basic, worked great.It's worth noting, however, that these components are of the old style. This means they won't be compatible with Lego's newer "spark" parts, nor the Raspberry Pi "Build" hat. I now have two separate systems because of this.Pros:+ Great variety of parts+ Remote control is simple but effective.Cons:- Not compatible with Lego's newer "spark" system.

I just open the box received, and I found out a new battery box, a power module with its remote control, instructions for download the APP to make this unit to work with my Android cel, and a gift bag with assorted connectors. After checking all the received components are working ok. Thanks for the solution this seller gave.Today May 8, I was informed that the new set was delivered, when I have it in my hands and I check that every item in the set works ok I would write a new review. Since the seller took an action sending me a solution I increased one star, wait until I am totally satisfy, see you then.

These motors are great for testing out engineering ideas and being able to test if my motorized projects will work out. With the different differential gears I'm able to test out various functions for the motor and how it can can be modified for my various needs. I really like the Bluetooth function and being able to control the motors with either the remote control or with the app that I was able to download once I scanned the included QR code.

The Power Functions Motor Set for LEGO Technic is like an awesome upgrade for your LEGO creations. It's got motors, a battery box, and even a Bluetooth remote control option you can use with your phone. Plus, it comes with the latest differential for stability and more power. You get a bunch of cool pieces, but just remember, it doesn't come with instructions, AAA or AA batteries, or any LEGO bricks. It's great if you're 12 or older and really into LEGO building.

Could use instructions if you're unfamiliar with the name-brand parts.Our family loves the real deal blocks, but they're pretty expensive, so we've started picking up sets like this to offset and the costs. These work just like the normal power functions stuff, but they don't really include instructions so I could see that being a problem if you're unfamiliar with how stuff is supposed to work.The fit and finish is nice and tight, but the motors do seem just a little bit weaker. I don't have a good way to run a side-by-side comparison, so that's just my opinion.

I gave this motor to a child knowing the father can put together anything. It was very difficult to assemble even for him. The motor did make the Lego model advance forward a bit but will not turn because it is capable of only one command. It was very expensive for something that does very little. Don't waste your money.

The media could not be loaded.  With this power functions motors and controller set you get a lot of options for driving your creations. The kit includes a servo motor, a train motor, an XL motor, an L motor, and two M motors. A battery pack and a rechargeable Bluetooth controller and a remote control are also included to give you a variety of options for controlling the motors. All necessary cables and a mini screwdriver for opening the battery pack are also included.There is also a bag of additional parts which includes technic pieces to make a modern style six gear differential, two driving gears, a selection of axles, two shocks, and wheels for the train motor.I tested each of the hardware components, they all work fine. The remote controller takes two AAA batteries, the battery pack takes six AA batteries. The rechargeable Bluetooth controller utilizes a USB connection to charge - so you can charge from a laptop or other USB charging source. The connector on the rechargeable pack uses a USB micro-b connection.The Bluetooth functionality requires you to use an their app. Interestingly there are two different QR codes that link two two different apps. The QR code on the box links to an app called Xuncheng blocks that is not able to connect to the controller. The instruction insert has a different QR code, this one links to the app called XP Block which works correctly.The XP Block app has plenty of nice features, such as being able to drive the motors at partial speed, steering, programming and path following - I haven't tried all of them but the app seems pretty versatile. I was not able to find these apps in the Android store. You have to directly download them from the host site and install them - so make sure you back up your installation file incase you lose the instructions and need to reinstall the app.I did try a few other name brand and third party apps from the play store, but I was unable to get any of those to connect to the Bluetooth controller - so to get all of the extra features the app offers, use the XP Blocks app from the instructions insert in the box.Aside from the incorrect QR codes on the box linking to a broken app, everything worked fine in this set and I am well pleased with it and excited to drive some of our creations with it.
