I’m from Chicago which has incredible Mexican food because the population is around 30 percent Hispanic. It’s pretty much impossible to find good Mexican food in England so you have to make it yourself. These are really good quality dried peppers and they smell and taste fantastic. The price is inflated- in Chicago 200 grams is about 2 pounds or less in price, but I’ll order from them again certainly.

Bought these to copy a Rick Stein recipe for authentic carne con chilli,the real way and name for chilli con carne as we know it. I suggest you try it!! Absolutely stunning flavours and you will change the way you cook chilli forever,we have!! The prices are extortionate as the sellers know they have a captive market but this seller was the cheapest and delivery was fast so I’d recommend using these!:)

Good value, one pack lasts a little while. I use them to make the sauce for carne con chile. Soaked in boiling water and then blended they impart a real depth of flavour to the food. You really need these for Mexican or Tex-Mex recipes.
