wonderful filtration system except filters slow!
To begin, I love the taste of the water from this product! I drink lots of water and herbal tea and this water tastes amazing. I had used Zero Water years ago and loved it. I just tried the Brita system and was not happy with it. I tested my water from the Brita and it had 111 rating and my tap had a 117. My Zero Water had 000. So far the taste of the water is great. I always rely on product reviews abd videos. Are so helpful! I wanted to get the 32 cup unit but a reviewer showed how the unit leaked at the front corner and spicket. I bought the 22 cup since reviews were great. So far my container HAS NOT leaked anywhere. A complaint was the water was slow to filter through the filter. I found the openng hole is flush with the bottom of the container. If I pull up the white filter holder reservior and turn it sideways raising the filter up high allows the water to flow through really fast. My 22 cup filters 3 reserviors full in about 10 minutes or less. The water tastes so yummy. I love it. So far no leaks. I recommend it highly. The filters are a bit expensive but worth it. I recommend the 22 cup and wish I had the 32 cup unit. I also let the first filtration through the filter be discarded to clean the new filter. One true negative I have found that after a few filtration cycles the filter becomes slow and almost stops??? I have no idea why it stops filtering even with the filter raised off the bottom. Is a bit irritating. After owning my filtration system for 2 months I LOVE it. I found the way to increase the speed of getting the tap water through the filter is to RAISE THE FILTER UNIT OUT OF THE CONTAINER AND SET IT SIDEWAYS ON TOP OF THE FILTERED WATER CONTAINER TO RAISE THE FILTER ABOVE THE BOTTOM OF THE CONTAINER TO NOT BLOCK THE FILTRATION SYSTEM. THEN POUR TAP WATER DIRECTLY OVER THE FILTER ITSELF. This make the filtration really fast. My filter has lasted for 2 months and may last 2 and a half months. I love this zero water system.

$20, filters down to 0~1ppm, comes with measuring device, tastes great
I have a well and we capture rain water. We also buy spring water. We have tried lots of filters. To test this, we bought this for $20. We captured rain water and let it sit outside. A taste test tasted like dirt was mixed in. Measured several batches from 190~210ppm and some as low as 9~10ppm and they still tasted like dirt. Ran them through this filter and got them down to 0~1ppm and there's no dirt taste, no any taste, doesn't taste like anything. Filtered down to just water basically. Everyone likes the taste in the house. Very happy with the filter. Only con: filtering takes time and is a low process, but its worth it.

First impressions
Keep in mind I've only had this for 24 hours so i cannot speak to longevity or durability yet but....I tried brita filters and knockoffs but zerowater takes the cake!I bought a TDS meter and a brita water filter, as well as, 2 different knock off brands. Tested the tap and then again filtered with each different filter.Brita reduced the TDS a little but certainly isn't filtering 99% of it out.The knock off's actually went up with the first few flushes (as they say to flush the filters out first) and then were right back to the TDS reading of the tap, so no filtering was happening.Zerowater is true to it's claims. My tap water can go from 80 to 180 TDS. After Zerowater filtration the TDS meter reads ZERO! And that taste is truly exceptional. It's easy to install the filter and that's the most you have to do.I will agree with many other commenters that it is slower than the brita filters but it's clearly because it's ACTUALLY filtering the water so just be patient. You can always filter the water and put it in other containers/ pitchers etc. Just remember to top it off when you take water and it shouldn't be too big of an issue.*pictures*Brita pitcher on the right for comparison.Tap TDS shows 101Filtered water shows 000

Excellent filter.
Very easy to assemble. Works as advertised. Made the well water crystal clear and tastes like bottled water.
