Well, it works. With some modifications.
The ribbon cables don't line up, or are too short/long. I had to peal back the black covering on the back of it, and realign the ribbon cables to aren't at a weird angle, pull them out longer, and push one back so it wasn't too long. They even have lines and marking on where the cables are supposed to run, and they missed those guides quite a bit. But once i did all that, it fit, and it worked. Whatever.I know what youre going to say/think, and yes, I am sure this is the write part. It's just poorly made.

I ordered two, one worked, one was defective.
They seem ok, but one had to be returned. The replacement worked fine. They're buried pretty deep in these laptops and I gladly would have paid a bit more to not have to do the work twice.

Well Priced Replacement KB, Similar Look and Feel to Dell OEM
I was a little hesitant ordering this replacement keyboard because I saw other reviews that mentioned that the wire ribbons were not positioned properly to plug into the connectors on the laptop motherboard.Lured by the low cost, I went ahead and ordered it regardless, and I am happy to say that although my keyboard ribbons were not precisely positioned, they were usable on the first try without having to do any modifications. The action of the keyboard itself and the illumination are a close enough match to the original that I can’t really tell the difference between this and the OEM Dell keyboard. The left ‘mouse’ button may require a little more effort than I am used to, but it seems to be breaking in just fine. The actual transplanting of the keyboard into a Dell Latitude for replacement is not necessarily a job for the faint of heart, as you have to remove nearly all parts of the laptop except for the lid and screen in order to replace the keyboard. I went slowly and followed some Illustrated online tutorials, and in the end after I replaced my old keyboard with this one everything worked correctly. Give yourself a half hour or better to do this the first time, there are a lot of small screws to remove and reinstall.I've attached a picture to show how the keyboard ribbons looked once they were snapped into the sockets on my computer motherboard. You can see that they are a little raised due to minor misalignment of the cables with their corresponding connectors. For me, the value here is good. I am hoping that the vendor has made improvements in manufacturing based on earlier feedback and that the cables on all keyboards will all align as well or better than mine did. If your KB backlight has failed or you have missing keycaps or non-functional keys, then this can get you back up and running at a low price.

One key was broken out of the box, and one of the ribbons is too short
I intended to install this on a Latitude E5470, but when it arrived, one of the keys was already damaged on the keyboard. The key in question was sticking up on one side and touching the base on the other side. No matter how hard I tried to realign it, the key in question would not go back down. However, even if I had been able to fix that key, it would not have mattered since one of the ribbons for connecting the keyboard to the motherboard is too short to actually reach. It's about 3 mm too short, and as a result the keyboard is unusable with a Latitude E5470.
