A must-have resource!
I am delighted to write a positive review of the book Family Devotional: Family Bible Study for Kids, Teens, and Parents to get Closer to God by Eileen Nyberg. This book is an excellent resource for families who want to grow in their faith and strengthen their relationships with each other and with God.One of the standout features of this book is its accessibility. The devotionals are written in a way that is easy to understand for both children and adults, and they are short enough to fit into even the busiest of schedules. The author, Eileen Nyberg, has done an excellent job of making the content engaging and relevant to families of all ages and stages.Another aspect of this book that I appreciate is the way it encourages families to come together in their faith. Each devotional includes discussion questions and practical application suggestions that help families apply the lesson to their daily lives. The book also includes tips for family prayer and scripture reading, which are invaluable tools for building spiritual habits as a family.Overall, I highly recommend this book to families who are looking to grow in their faith and strengthen their relationships with each other and with God. Eileen Nyberg has created an excellent resource that is both accessible and impactful.

Family Devotional Must Have
Family Devotions by Eileen Nyberg is a great family devotional for kids, and parents alike to bond with each in their busy lives as well as get closer to God.The book is well organized and covers a wide range of subjects that families can discuss in order (or jumping around for certain topics). In each section is the subject where the author will sometimes go into a personal story (such as siblings fighting) a small part for Talk About It where she asks a question to be discussed within the family. The next is Activity and then Prayer. The book encourages communication with the family and reading the passages over dinner table to grow deeper relationships. The book can be easily jumped around for certain topics and can lead to great discussions for small and large families. An important devotional that can be easily done as the passages are usually two pages.

Wonderful Family Devotional!
This devotional is one of my favorites that emphasizes the importance of family communication, bonding and overall love. This family devotional is written in a larger print, with simple and relatable lessons which is perfect for both older members and little ones to follow along with what is meant to be learned. One of my favorites sections and lessons in this devotional are the ones about siblings! There are quite a few lessons about how we should approach fighting with our siblings. It’s so true that brothers and sisters can pick on each other from time to time, or even argue but we still stand strong together. As a sibling myself I could really relate to those passages!Overall, there are so many great devotionals that can start a discussion or improve a lesson for family prayers or study that you are bound to find plenty of them relevant to what your family needs to hear most. I could definitely see this collection being used over and over, and even being revisited for personal guidance as the lessons, along with the bible passages, are just that timeless.

Relatable examples
The examples in the book are relatable for all ages. The chapter title invites imagination and it’s great for my son. It’s just a good book that doesn’t feel like a “have to do”.

Beautiful Family Devotional!
“Family Devotional: Family Bible Study for Kids, Teens and Parents to Get Closer to God,” by Eileen Nyberg is the perfect family devotional for even the most busy families. The devotional is intended to inspire you to sit down to eat at least twice a week as a family with your young and adolescent children. You will read Bible verses aloud as a group. Then, as a family, you will consider the topics, conversation topics, and activities that you can conduct throughout the course of the week. What a lovely and helpful book! not to mention stunning in appearance! I am extremely appreciative of this resource that I can utilize with my kids. It has already made it possible to memorize numerous verses and conduct numerous debates that would not have been possible otherwise. This is a terrific tool that every Christian mother should have since Eileen Nyberg has made it simple for us moms to do what we wanted to do but found it difficult to do. The entire family gathered around the table as we read the first devotion. Our 12-year-old kid enjoyed participating and could follow along. My husband and I too experienced a great time. incredibly lovely and simple to work into your weekly routine. and enjoyed themselves so much at our supper.

Such a beautiful family-friendly devotional!
The book is divided into different parts: simple translations of scriptures, discussion questions, activities and prayers. The content was both inspiring and practical, with insights that could be easily applied to daily family life. The author’s writing style was engaging and accessible, making it easy to read and understand both kids, teens and parents. I found the devotionals and activities to be very helpful in strengthening family bonds and fostering spiritual growth. Overall, I highly recommend this book to any family looking to deepen their faith and grow closer together.

Not for teens
I was disappointed that this devotional was so simple and lacked the biblical content and insight our family was seeking. It is great for young children but doesn't spark any deep conversation for children who know their bible.

Great for Families
This is a wonderful book to encourage families to take part in their devotional together rather than separately. It encourages conversations, thoughtful discussion and time for reflection. I love the core idea of this book, simply reading a portion of scripture and having dinner together to reflect. By suggesting incorporating Bible study into a regular family routine is excellent and I think it has helped my family feel closer. I love how each section links to an activity that you can do together. The whole book feels very celebratory of families and how we can grow with ours. I’d highly recommend this book.
