I could not find my original picker tool and was delighted when I saw they were still available from Tonic. They arrived promptly and are so useful.

My other "pokey" took is very slender and, being brass, often slips. Have yet to use this but just holding it, seems to have a better grip and, being a Tim Holtz design, am hoping that it has the same quality as his stapler. The point is extremely sharp which makes the retractable part very wise. The looped top makes it easy to identify if/when in a utensil pot.I've seen this used on video tutorials which prompted the purchase.

the most versitile tool you will ever need, not just for crafting but any job that requires access to small spaces, such as removing screw head covers, prising the backing of self adhesive, so versitile we loaned the original permanently to a neighbour and got ourselves a new one.

I don`t know how I managed without this as I use it all the time now I have it.

this is a wonderful craft tool and very safe, mine went missing and l just had to have another one.would not be without it. It's a must for all crafters.

I've had several of these paper picks over the years. I often add embroidery to paper crafts, especially greeting cards. I keep a craft pick in each of my project containers. I especially like that the picks are retractable so you can carry them anywhere. I trace designs lightly in pencil (you can use stencil) and then punch holes for embroidering. Hints for use: if a design is complicated, punch one part, embroider, and then punch another part. To help spacing, for example on a small heart, punch top and bottom "corners" and punch the middle of the curves at the top of the heart. It will help you judge spacing. If you embroider something thin like a flower stem, alternate where you punch so the paper doesn't tear out. Card stock 65 or 110 weight works well

Never though a poking stick would end up being so darn useful. This is never far from my reach when crafting. It has a 1 ½" retractable pick end (for safety) that locks into various length positions for punching out delicate die pieces, piercing felt, wool and paper projects or even with a tiny tip of tacky glue can be used to pickup and place sequins and rhinestones quickly.
