Required for RV with Dual Tanks and Mopeka Monitor
Bought a single Mopeka monitor for my RV that has dual 20lb tanks. Unfortunately the monitor comes with 3 aluminum feet to give enough clearance for the monitor. While this works, it causes the primary tank to be much higher than backup tank and the retention system didn't seem very secure. Also the 3 feet make the tank a bit wobbly. Bought two of these rings and provides enough clearance for monitor while keeping both tanks the same height. Even if I bought a second monitor, I'd still rather have these rings than the feet.

Worked as expected
The Mopeka Ring Halo lifted our 30 gallon RV propane tank as advertised to allow space for the Mopeka Pro Check Sensor to be mounted on the bottom of the tank. So far the sensor is working great. We did have to relearn the positioning of the side by side tanks to make sure they fit in the compartment with the ring attached. Once we figured that out, it was great.

Do you need a ring? It depends....
I wend looking on the Mopeka web site and found some information in the FAQ section. I'll post it here to save someone from having to chase it down.Do All Tanks need a spacer? Not all tanks need spacers. Some vertical cylinders (with foot ring) have adequate clearance for the sensor. However, we always recommend spacers for vertical cylinders that sit on the ground, to improve Bluetooth range. Large vertical cylinders like 100 lb (45kg) cylinders and 420 gallon vertical tanks, we recommend placing the cylinder on at least 2 blocks, to allow more open area for Bluetooth signal. When using a cylinder that sits in a tray, for example on an RV, or in grill, where the tray is off the ground, spacers typically are not required unless there is not clearance for the sensor. Sensors should not be contacted by tray or ground. How much clearance is added with the spacers? with the Halo?Spacers add .275 inches (7mm) clearance. The Halo adds .160 inches (4mm) clearance. How much clearance is needed for the sensors?Pro and Standard sensors are .295 inches (7.3mm) in height. Please allow a little extra clearance to ensure sensors are not touched when in normal position. They fit my 40 lb tanks without issues. I'll be creating a note for the LP tanks, reminding me to remove the sensors before filling the tanks. Not all filling stations are on concrete or asphalt, some are on stones and will damage the sensors.

Perfect
This was the perfect product to work with the sensors. Prior to purchasing these the sensors stuck down below the base of my tank just enough to get in the way.
