Independent Water Sensor Alarm

I’ve had a 60-gallon reef tank for almost two decades, which means I regularly mix fresh saltwater very other week. I always set a timer to warn me when my salt mix bucket is about to overflow, but sometimes the water fills at an unpredictable rate, and I’ve ended up with mini floods in my kitchen more than once. So, I finally decided to get a water leak sensor. At first, I looked into smart sensors that connect with Apple Home or Samsung SmartThings, but they were pricey ($35+), had non-replaceable batteries, low audio alarm, and had frequent complaints about disconnecting from the system. Instead, I went with a simple, battery-powered water sensor, and I’m so glad I did! This device is not only loud but also incredibly accurate. The moment even a tiny part of its foot touches water, it sets off a piercing alarm (and I mean LOUD. I can hear it from several rooms away). Best of all, it’s a straightforward device with replaceable batteries, and I can even use rechargeables. No complaints whatsoever, and for this price, I can’t recommend it enough!

This water leak detector truly saved the day. It works exactly as expected and alarms us immediately when it detects water. The alert is loud and fast, which helps prevent bigger damage. A simple but extremely effective device to have at home.

Tested it and works great, soon as moisture touches the four metal legs on the bottom it sounds the alarm. Says it will also alert when the battery is dying which is perfect. I don't check my basement often so if a sump pump fails this will alert me before the issue becomes catastrophic.

Cool product. Works two ways alarms on wet floor and also when dripped on.

I bought this leak detector to put in my basement and I'm really glad that I did. They give me peace of mind. A few years ago I smelled something dreadful. I tracked it to the basement, which I rarely find the need to go in. Well, there was sewer backup several inches high. It was horrible and gross to clean up. I had to throw so many things away. Since that time, everything is now stored in plastic bins, but I was always trying to remind myself to check at least every couple of days. With this, it makes a loud sound. So I put it right by the sewer pipe that overflowed and had to be fixed by a plumber. You just put it on the floor, it is that easy to install. Luckily, I haven't had it go off (and I've been down there a lot recently for holiday decorations and suitcases so I know there is no leak). So I won't know for sure that it works well until a leak occurs. Finger crossed!

Seems well made and works. I tested it in a dish of water. Alarm is very loud. This product will help prevent prolonged damage from a water leak. I bought 2 and put one by washer and the other by the hot water heater

Works as stated!! I have in the basement can here it on the 2nd floor of my house.

Just arrived. I tested it, it does sound when water touches its sensors. Very loud alarm for my apartment, but not sure if it is loud enough if you place it in an American-style house basement. Edit: It has since consistently worked for my leak. Loud alarm every time, good product

It's just what I needed for my basement it works...what more can I say!

Fait très bien le travail mais n’est pas connecté au wifi ou à quoi que ce soit donc il faut être sur place pour entendre sonner. La sonnerie est très forte c’est un avantage

I held off on reviewing this as I hadn’t had a water leak yet. Our washer has leaked twice in the past year which was what prompted me to purchase this alarm. Yesterday the alarm sounded when I had a load of laundry in, and sure enough it was leaking water. I was very happy to be able to address the problem quickly without my basement flooding or the water causing any damage.
