The snowblower attachment that came with my garden tractor had really skinny skid shoes and when I needed to clear snow on grass they would sink in and dig up the ground. These wider shoes were twice the width of what came with the snowblower and they did the trick. No more digging!

Both skid shoes are identical, there is not a left and right. In order to have a left and right the skid shoes would need to be mirror images of each other. I suspect that Elitewell manufactures them in this way to keep the price down.The slots for the bolt spacing are all cut at a different distance apart, this is a good thing because it allows the skid shoes to fit most brands of snowblower, and they do work as advertised, however if you are (like I am) anal about having something stick out further on one side than the other, this will get you wanting to get an extra beer or two after you finish clearing your driveway. LolThey do spread the weight out over a much bigger area than the skid shoes that came stock on my Simplicity (Model 1524) snowblower. "Also because I'm anal", I adjust my shoes for a 1/8 inch clearance of the scraper bar so I can clean right down to the blacktop, this makes it necessary for me to readjust the plastic skid shoes that came stock on my machine several times over the course of a typical Minnesota winter.Being made of metal, and much wider, I suspect that the Elitewell skid shoes will go a couple seasons without needing to be adjusted.

These are built like a tank should last years

Put them on my husqvarna walk behind snowblower, ALOT better than the plastic ones that came on it and only last 1 season and cost more money

They will not fit the same way on the snowblower auger housing. Like two left or right shoes. One will be far in front and other one far back. They are not made to fit equal on two oposite sides

The slots for the bolts are not mirrored. It lines up on one side of the blower but the other side didn't. Had to drill my own holes which makes it not adjustable

These look like solid skid shoes that should do well to keep my blower out of the gravel and mud. Unfortunately they did not come with any nuts or bolts. Luckily I have bolts left over from the shoes these will be replacing.

Easy to use to replace existing pads. Would purchase again
