Yuasa YBX5019 12V 100Ah 900A Silver High Performance Battery

I purchased this battery in February 2020, for my 2007 Land Rover Defender 2.4 Puma engine.When I opened the box, I discovered the battery was up side down in its box, and wondered whether it was a faulty battery that had been returned previously.However, I decided to use it in my Land Rover, but started to realise that if I didn't use my vehicle for a week or so, then the battery became 'flat'.I put it down to not using my vehicle on a daily basis.Today - 24th December 2020, I charged the battery up over two days, and when I attempted to start the engine, the battery remained flat.STOP PRESS:I can now confirm, that I had contacted the people at Yuasa, and was informed in an email from them the customers who purchase Yuasa batterys from Amazon, are not covered by Yuasa's warranty. Yuasa say that their warranty is for wholesale purchases only.I was advised to take my complaint directly to Amazon, if I was not happy with my battery.

Do not buy ,new battery brought in sept 2018, I have had problems since day one would not hold a charge? The company would not help me without their invoice code,which I did not have even through they had access to my Amazon account, I have brought a new cheap battery today,March 2019, my car started first turn of the key,I for one will never buy this brand of battery again(yuasa).0 STARS

Ordered Yuasa 019 Car Battery as it is a Branded Item and paid good Money.upon receiving Item I fitted into My Car Took Me a good hour as In Mercs it fits under Driver Seat.First Day Fine Next Morning car would not start as battery was not holding power.

Started to have issues with my camper van it's a vw t5 2004. This is my 3rd battery. For some reason the last time it got changed (not by me) they only installed a 75ah battery and I'm retrospect it did look tiny and bosch won't replace under warrenty because it was under sized for van. So after checking at halfrouds and Euro car rip off tjere was no way I was spending over 200 quid. But I thought I'd give Amazon a go. Well blow me they had this one for 99 quid. Straight in to basket and deliverd with in days. Great. And came direct from yuasa UK factory not from Amazon. Great brand new and pre charged to 100% can't fault this battery as of yet. Comes with 1 year warrenty . But word of warning. Remove everything you can from battery bay as its a massive battery and you need arms of steel to fight it in. Great though. I recomend it. It fires the starter over and now starts first time every time.Yuasa batteries (including Motorcycle & Powersport types) sold as replacement product to direct customers are guaranteed against premature failure due to manufacturing or material defects for a period of 12 months (from the date of purchase of the battery by the end-user).Most Yuasa distributors/resellers will offer an additional warranty period (against manufacturing defect) at their discretion. This is administered independently of GS Yuasa.

Bought as a replacement for an original 11-year-old battery that caused PARKBRAKE FAULT problems due to lack of adequate starter current. This battery is uprated compared to the original. Easy to fit. Comes pre-charged.Replaced with the genuine article just months later.

No idea what "warmth" and "sheerness" features are but gave them 5 stars anyway. More applicable to stockings??Fitted to replace original 2004 battery. OMG, what a difference! Already charged on arrival but I gave it 48hrs additional charge. Engine flies over and starts instantly. Well-known S-type handbrake sticking on problem gone. Everything feels better and car has even more grunt. Yuasa batteries have a great reputation and I'm really pleased with this one. No hesitation in recommending this battery.

I'm reluctant to review any battery just after installation. It is probably better to take notice of reviewers who have had one for a year or more. However, after six weeks and some very cold mornings my 3.0L diesel starts first time every time.

Unfortunately the battery was depleted and it was not identified until a couple of weeks later when the battery was fitted. The battery was put on charge but it did not hold.Fortunately for me, and my wallet, Amazon Customer Service agreed to refund the cost of the battery.
