This humidifier will definitely give you moisture! I was stunned by the amount of mist coming out of this thing on the LOW setting! It was crazy! It was way too much for my needs and blanketed everything in the vicinity in dew.The other problem with it is that I was interested in this thing because it said it could run for 30 hours without needing refilled. NOT TRUE! I was running it on the lowest setting and it barely made it 15 hours. I can't stand it when companies outright lie in their product descriptions! If you're looking to buy this for the length of time it can run without refilling, keep looking because you'll be sorely disappointed!

I got this for my small bedroom, as I was having trouble sleeping with dry air. This has helped so much! For the first 2 days I had it, I let it run all day and night to get my room decently humid, and by the second or third night, I wasn't having dry air problems anymore.It's quiet, it makes less noise than a fan. The blue light can be turned off by pressing and holding the power button for a few seconds. There are 3 settings for low to high mist. A full tank of water lasts well through the night and then some, on the lowest setting. I haven't used the higher settings as much.

This product is amazing! I don’t know if it is because i have only been exposed to the Vicks brand humidifier at martmart. But this has great capacity and really puts out the moisture at each level. It has 3 settings and I ran it on low with a full tank for almost 2 days without refilling. The auto-off feature worked flawlessly. It’s not very noisy at all (whisper quiet) and has a very reasonable footprint too, not too big and bulky and looked really nice setup. It was pretty easy to clean even with my oversized hands. I just wiped out the inside of the tank with a rag. I wish I could have gave it 4.5 stars, but the only limitations I found were:1. I really wish it had an auto-on feature so I could use a timer with it. Once this is off the only way to turn it on is by physically pressing the power button.2. Occasionally, when I would try to press the power button it wouldn’t read my touch. I should mention its not so much a “button” you press, but a spot on the plastic that senses your finger and turns on. Maybe my finger was wet or cold, but sometimes it took a few attempts to turn it on. Not a huge deal, but it was a thing.There is also foam disk included around the output for adding essential oils and fragrance, but I never tried it. There are replacement disks included as well if you want a few different smells; at least I suppose that’s what they were for. As long as you are not looking for auto-on functionality, I think you will love this humidifier.

Some of the reviews for this humidifier scared me, but I'm glad I took the chance. In previous years, I have used Holmes humidifiers with filters, and while I like those, the prices on filters and how long they last has gotten ridiculous. Plus they are definitely louder than this unit.Some reviews said that this humidifier needs cleaning, but in the 2 months that I have had this it, I haven't seen any reason to clean it, either visually or because of smell. There simply is no smell.To address other concerns mentioned in reviews, I have this unit on a stable base, above vinyl floor and I'm careful to pour the water slowly straight down into the unit and not to spill or overfill. There is a fill limit indicator, but it's not where you would expect it to be. It's at the bottom of the rim inside the top opening.It just works. If it were to rock on an unstable base, I could see how it would spill, so if that is a concern in your house, then I would choose another product.The water I use to refill the unit comes from an APEC 6 filter, under-sink, RO water system. (which I highly recommend BTW) This humidifier uses less than 2 gallons per day on the middle or high setting, which is only a slight inconvenience when filling. Buying distilled water from the store would be slightly less pure and way more hassle.After 2 months, there was a tiny bit of white sediment right next to the mist opening, which I think was from the RO system piece which adds back calcium to the water to make it more alkaline for taste when drinking. I was able to wipe it off with my hand and it's gone.I think I will buy another of these humidifiers, because in my experience, all good companies discontinue their best products and I'm left wishing I had stocked up. I don't anticipate needing a replacement, but I might want a 2nd humidifier in another room.
