Great grease. Only 3/4s full but does contain 500g of product.
The media could not be loaded. As I fully expected having read the one star reviews the tub was only 3/4s full. But guess what, it weighed 542g so allowing for the plastic pot I thing itβs safe to say I got the 500g of product I paid for. Happy customer

Superb
Used on a garden swing chair and immediately stopped the squeaking between the metal spring and loop. Great stuff, plenty supplied in the tub too.

NLGI 1 Silicone grease
It seems to be a decent grease which resists changing physical properties with temperature fairly well. That bit is important as is its cling properties. As it is quite a thin grease, it is only viable for brake slider pins in fairly cold conditions and if brakes never get hot. However, it is ideal for various household or auto uses where it may be used to lubricate slow moving mechanisms or gears. I think an NLGI 3 grease would be better for lubricating polyurethane bushes due to the forces involved which would squeeze out an NLGI 1 grease too easily. For that reason, this Silverhook Silicone Grease is not an answer for everything but will be fine if used correctly. The grease really should have been classified correctly and any lubricating product which is not classified as per ATSM tests is never going to be top drawer. People should be mindful of that when reading 5 star reviews. The flipside is there is a decent amount of product for not much cost.

Good grease, and a good brand in general.
Ordered a few different greases from the silverhook line as well as some underseal. Based on a recommendation from my brother-in-law. I am very impressed with the finish of the underseal it's very nice looking. Like a matte paint, smooth but still as tough as any other 10/10 product. As for the grease which is what this review is for, it's hard to say it's grease you can't really tell unless a bearing melts or something like that which hasn't happend. It's consitency is very well.. consistent. There is nothing abnormal to note. I bought the copper grease, lithium grease and the moly grease all very much as described. Tastes very nice as well, Slight nutty undertone. (Joking ofcourse, don't eat the grease). As someone who is new to all this mechanical lark it's nice they have a little write up on the front. It details what the grease is best suited for. Makes picking the right grease for the job easy and reasuring. I nearly used lithium grease on a CV joint but after not seeing CV joint on the list it made me look into what I should be using. Good job I did becasue turns out you need moly grease for that particular joint as it has some inhibitors in it or something. It's a nice touch, came in handy at least once.Delivery was interesting... Ordered a tub failed to come next day, but that's fine it was a Saturday after all so could be forgiven. It was rescheduled for monday. That's also fine, I don't mind deliveries not coming on weekends. It's nice when they do but not something I expect. Well, Monday comes and still nothing. I get an email saying it's now coming on Wednesday. That's annoying as not only is it not next day, it's going to take an additional few days. I see it's still advertised as next day on the listing so I order another and that does come next day. I cancelled the first order and it was all fine in the end. had my truck sat there waiting for a few days, but no harm done... Really not sure what happened, I imagine there was some miscommunication and the order was rescheduled as and when. Probably more to do with Amazon rather than the seller/Item. Not sure, doesn't really matter. Worth keeping in mind maybe. It hasn't happend to me before or since.
