Floor Mat Puzzle Pieces Came Warped
Overall this comes with a lot of pieces that is more than enough to keep your kids entertained and building their little town, for a while at least. The biggest issue I have with this product is that the floor mat of the town you build all the block buildings on top of are very thin puzzle pieces for something that is supposed to sit on the floor or a table. By thin I mean that they are the same as any standard puzzle piece, which might be fine if they don't come warped or your kids won't push down on them at all or add any weight to some sections at a time and not all at once, maybe your kids will just look at the mat. Before they could even really start playing with the blocks themselves they kept trying to keep the puzzle floor mat together and were getting really upset that they couldn't keep it together before trying to put any blocks down. We ended up letting them use a hot wheels styled town carpet/play mat for the blocks and they absolutely loved making their own buildings, and then godzillaing the town before putting away the blocks. If you have something to use as a back up to the puzzle floor mat your kids can use to build on then there is no reason what so ever that this wouldn't be an excellent choice of kids toy that helps with fine motor skills.

Incredible set of blocks - a great value - but with a lame playmat
This set is super cool. I say that as the parent. I love the variety of shapes, the vibrant colors, and the mix-and-match building prints on the pieces. I like that the pieces are cut well so that they stack easily (I've only noticed one that's not quite level) and that the edges are rounded. It's fun to create buildings and easy to stack towers. That said, the pieces are pretty small. My son is two and only plays with this set while supervised. That's fine, because I like using these with him. :) But I know the time will come when he wants to use them when I'm busy, and I probably shouldn't let him use them alone. Also, though the paint seems pretty solid overall, there is some flaking/chipping on just a couple pieces. When I tried, I was able to scrape some off with a fingernail. Obviously not ideal, and I wish I had a lead testing kit to just make absolutely sure that there is no danger here. The playmat is annoying as well. All the pieces were there and they went together, but they are bent a bit and don't stay. It would be nice if they were a little thicker like typical puzzle pieces. As it is, I put them away. We won't be using them; they're more annoying than fun.HOWEVER, despite the negatives, I still love this set. It's so easy to imagine you're building a little town or a strip mall with the little mix and match building pieces, and there are plenty of vehicles to drive about the place. The storage bag is handy and everything fits easily inside of it. It has both a drawstring and handles, which is great. For the price, I feel like this set delivers. The main caveat is the choking-hazard warning, but with that said, I'd recommend this set to a friend.

Educational Building Toy Set for Kids, Good Made Quality.
This Dazmers Wooden Building Stacking Blocks Set comes with two boxes of wooden blocks and a red colored storage bag. I love the made quality of the wooden blocks, the colors are vibrant and the shapes are pretty cute. There are no sharp edges on the wooden blocks and all the blocks are nicely manufactured. The mat in the set is designed as a small puzzle and made from traditional thick cardboard paper. So there are actually two games included in the set: A Puzzle Game and The Building & Stacking Game.I like the design of this set. It integrates all the common elements of a city, very educational for young kids. By playing with the set, kids can learn all the common buildings and facilities in the city and their purposes. Meanwhile, building and stacking is a good way to practice the imagination and motor skills, which are important to the early development for kids. This is also a set suitable for parents to join and play together, creates a wonderful bonding time.Overall,I think this is a nice playing set for young kids.

Blocks are fun, but the puzzle mat is poor quality
The media could not be loaded. ย The puzzle mat will continuously pop up in different spots while putting it together (see video). This makes it impossible to use for it's purpose of driving cars and making a little town on it. You could glue it down onto cardboard or something similar to make it work for that purpose. I'm not sure if the puzzle I got was defective, but the one that I received was poor quality. The blocks are fun and seem to be of high quality (wooden), and it seems like the paint won't be chipping off very easily. My 3.5 year old and 17 month old had fun building with the blocks. My son tried to make a town, but he also had a lot of fun just building a tower the highest that he could (see picture of what he built). My kids are a big young yet to utilize the cute words or letters on the blocks, but I presume that would be fun for an older child to build towns with. I like that these blocks could be used just as normal blocks (tower building), even if you don't use them to build a town. The blocks also come with a red bag that easily stores the blocks for future use and aids in easy clean up!

This is a really cute and fun city building toy, but not perfect
The wood blocks are all great and good quality, though they are a little smaller than I expected when we ordered this. The biggest disappointment is that the puzzle is not as well made as I would like. The pieces are large and have some flex to them, so they do not stick together as well as they should and with any amount of play, they come apart. Being the dad that I am, I will probably cut down a piece of foam core or a piece of thin plywood and glue all the pieces to that, so that the city will work better as a city with streets to play on... the only issue with this is that it makes it larger and harder to move around, but I think the added functionality of it will end up making that worth it. Overall, it is a great playset and I think with it currently priced at $22 it is definitely worth the price.
