This in not "Shabby Chic"It is a brand new piece of plywood that has very faint printing on it.Had I been aware of what Shabby Chic means I could have made my own very poor sign using some of the cheap plywood sat in my garage.I would suggest you don't waste your money on it unless you want a brand new piece of plywood that is the ideal size for blocking a letter box up with.My wife says I can go and cut myself some plywood the same size, get a black marker, and write "only an idiot would part with good money for this".

This is the best 'Beware of the badgers' sign I've ever owned. Since hanging it on my office wall we have had no unwanted visitors, so it is both attractive and functional.

The plaque is NOT engraved. The words are PRINTED. The printing is very faint in pale brown. Save your hard earned money. DON'T BOTHER.😡

Bought this for my dad as a joke present - he absolutely loves it and it hangs on our front door. Has lasted ages the wood has not deteriorated and still looks really nice, exactly as photo depicts.
