A nice size pen to check voltage in your household wiring. This is easy to use. Put in the battery and press the on button. When you hold the tip next to or on to the wire you are checking, it will either stay green for no current or if the wire is hot, turn red and buzz. This is a must have item for around the house when checking your electrical outlets and connections. Stop guessing and go for accuracy. The pen is worth the money and works every time.

I was fixing a ceiling fan and needed assurance that no electricity was pumping through. This was easy to use, fit in my hand, easy to turn on and off, red light active, green light not active. It picked the electricity currents easily. Dropped it a few times (not from electric shock) and works great.

I paid more for this name brand instead of a Chinese knockoff. This worked as advertised and detected the hot wire I was looking for when I put the batteries in and used it on day one. It seems like it’s well built. I’m glad I bought this.

The plug tester is great. Easy to read, easy to use, gives you the information you need with no frustrations.The line tester is pretty good, but the reason for the 4 star review. Needs a stronger active electric field to go off. I would have to rub the tip against the wire to see it go off, not just tap the wire like other models i've used. So, i'm not always 100% sure i have a dead wire unless i spend a few more seconds on the wire. It works well enough, but i'd prefer something that instills a bit more confidence through a little more sensitivity.

When you are about to grab electrical wires I want a product to tell me reliably there is no voltage. I’m an electrician and this is what I choose. It’s quick, easy to use, and fits in my shirt pocket so I always have it. It has a mode that shows red with voltage with or without beeping. Klein products are union friendly as well. Worth the money and piece of mind.

Super simple to set up and use. Tested it on a couple outlets and wires and it works great and accurately detects electrical current. A must have for safety when dealing with electricity.

I had a outlet that was not working and I need to figure out which breaker to switch off to be safe and this worked perfectly. Also used it for my smoke dectors. I had to replace them and they are also wired to my house but I couldn't figure which breaker to turn off but these identified the proper one in no time. love it!!

Great tool for safety. Much better to use this testing tool than licking or touching wires for voltage (do not attempt). I Highly recommend this tool to prevent unwanted home or workplace wire licking fatalities. Safety first!
