I’ve been really bored and have nothing to do at home lately. So I’ve gotten some Lego type things that aren’t to expensive and let me tell you this took 1,2 and 3 Harry Potter movies to built this. Honestly loved the outcome! And even my cats were trying to help it’s a lot of part so it will definitely keep you entertained.

Easy to assemble. was used for a gift.

Buyer beware! I bought this for my husband and I to put together. It quickly became obvious as we tried to figure out how to start that there wasn't an obvious sorting system for how the pieces were separated. We tried to identify specific pieces to figure out which bag to start with, but once we found the bag with the first few pieces we needed, other pieces needed for the very first step weren't in the same bag.There are supposed to be 3 parts to the castle, but there doesn't seem to be any indistinction within the instructions to show which part you are working on. There were 13 clear plastic bags labeled with identifying marks labeled as below:160.1.1160.1.2160.1.3160.1.4160.1.5160.2.1160.2.2160.2.3160.2.4160.3.1160.3.2160.3.3160.3.4These 13 bags were split between 3 bags labeled 1-3 but some seemed to be in the wrong bag. We tried to see if going in order starting with 160.1.1 would work but that bag didn't contain the right pieces for step 1.The visual instructions seem good to me but right now we're having to manually sort over 2,500 pieces (that are VERY tiny) so that we can try to just pull the pieces we need for each step. There are no tutorials online. There is no further info on this listing.Aside from 1 crushed piece we have found so far, everything looks like it is new and in good shape.I hope to update this review when we are further into the project but 1 hr in we have 4/13 bags sorted so far.So, buyer beware. I was trying to save money and didn't want to buy name brand but now I understand why my husband was wary.

Got it for my girlfriend and she loved it!

I enjoyed this build, but I did have a couple problems/suggestions. 1. bag 2 was missing a dark gray round piece, but I found an extra one in bag 3. 2. In order to make this castle form a square-ish, I modified the third build to move the linking pieces over (see picture of my build vs the picture from the box. ) There are extra pieces in the kit, which is helpful if you’re building with a cat hindering your work. I left the three spires that go off the top of the highest tower off - it just looked strange.

This is a fun and creative building set. The building blocks all look great and the instructions are easy to follow. While this isn't the Lego brand, it's a great second option. I got it for my son’s birthday and he loved it. It is smaller in size and does not take a lot of space after it has been built. I'd recommend it!!!

Missing alot of pieces and after all that work my only option is to return for credit. I cannot get the missing pieces. Suggest DO NOT Buy!Nice set but very confusing in some sections. No English in the guide, lack of detail on some diagrams, there are times when looking at a flat diagram does not help in orienting the direction on some of the pieces, colored squares do not give enough detail for the piece. Not recommended for a beginner there is too much guesswork. Needs a much better guide. Need some pics of the rear of the castle to compare while building.
