B.W. WALKER BASKET (MESH AND NYLON WITH BEVERAGE HOLDER) BY JUMBL, Black, Standard

I had difficult time rating this basket. In terms of its capability to hold many items, it is perfect. I am able to place iPhone, Kindle, glasses, notepad, pencil, wallet, hand sanitizer each in a separate compartment. And I still have empty slots for other things. So all of that deserve a 5 star. However, there are several things that are a 1 star. First off, the way the basket is attached to the walker blocks the large opening so that my ipad will not fit. They have placed the hook that hooks the basket to the walker right down the middle. If they would have used two hooks, one on either side, then the ipad would have fit in the large opening. In addition, the stretch cords that hold the bottom of the basket broke after 5 days, I have managed to tie them together. I will not return it since I do like the compartments and I have adapted it to fit okay. Would I recommend buying? Maybe, if you are handy and can sew your own hooks on either end. And just remember not to pull the elastic cords too tights.

I don't know how I got SO OLD, SO FAST! But, I’ve discovered that being old and forgetful, a B.W. Walker Basket by Jumbl attached to my Drive Folding Walker affords me a neat way to always have everything I need handy, without having to remember exactly what I might need: such as pen, regular glasses, reading glasses and sun glasses, extra handkerchiefs, hearing aid batteries, clip-on picture ID card, cell phone , water bottle, etc.The basket (though it’s not “exactly” a basket, but a nylon and mesh attachable catch-all) has proved invaluable to me, so much so that when my wife bought a used Drive Walker at a yard sale a week ago, I immediately ordered a second basked for it!I also have a third identical B.W. Walker Basket by Jumbl attached to the grab-bar on my bed - it holds the a small flashlight, the overhead light-ceiling fan control, the TV remote control, my hearing aids, control unit and Q-tips, pen and scratch-pad.Personally, I’ve found my B.W. Walker Baskets by Jumbl are an indispensable addition to my walkers and I’m sure, over time. additional uses will come up! e up!

I was really excited to get a basket for my walker. Last time I had surgery I'd just used an apron, but that hindered my legs when walking. I ordered this carry-all and was delighted with the size and shape. However, the design for attaching to the walker, though easy, didn't hold the basket snug or level. Specifically, the bottom elasticized wires, let the basket hang leaning forward and making the items in the basket lean away from me - both putting them in and taking out of the basket. Maybe it has something to do with the design of my walker (comes to a slight "V" in the front center rather than a smooth arc), but it still was a disappointment. If your walker is designed with the smoother arc in the front, this carry-all will most likely be great. For such a small price, go for it!

This item would be better called a bag than a basket because it is soft and does not maintain its shape when there is nothing inside. The beverage holder is not stable enough for an open drink, although it would be safe to put an unopened can or bottle in it. The bag is very classy looking on my walker, which is black and red and it works very well for getting the mail. It has several zippered and unzippered pockets. However it is not big enough for shopping unless you are buying small items such as toiletries, makeup, or pierced earrings! It connects to the walker with velcro hooks and a long elasticized strap, so it would probably work with almost any style of walker, whether the bars are v-shaped or straight. All in all, I think it was worth the price and suitable for my purposes.

This walker basket is very convenient and not so big as to interfere with use of the walker. However, it could be improved. For one thing, it smelled terribly when it arrived, like the smoke when the city sprays for mosquitos. The smell mostly went away after leaving it outside in the sunshine for awhile. Also, the interior is black. For my elderly Mother who can no longer see very well, it would be so helpful to have a light colored interior like hot pink or lime green or something that creates a contrast with the items she carries so that she can better see what's in the basket. This basket works well for its intended purpose and helps her tote various items around the house.

Bought this for my Mother to use with her walker. She likes it a lot. It is sturdy and holds everything she uses. She's fairly hard to please so I would say this is a definite winner. The main issue for her was all the others I bought for her were too deep and she had trouble reaching down far enough to find things. This one is not very deep which is exactly what I needed. By the way I researched this for months trying to find the exact "basket" that would work for her so believe me when I say, you can be sure this one is a keeper! Thanks

This is a great addition to a walker to add a little independence for those needing a walker. It really isn't a basket, but a soft bag made of black nylon material. One problem with the design is that the bag has a tendency to swing in (towards patient) because it is only secured with elastic straps. Add a small square piece of balsa wood behind bag between the walker and this added stability. Inside of the basket is divided nicely; this eliminates everything form ending up rolling all around in the basket.

This was SOOOO helpful when I had my total hip replacement! Trying to walk (at all) can be difficult but then try to carry ANYTHING - damn near impossible. You sure don't want to jeopardize yourself and possible fall doing something stupid like carrying a small object! This carried my glass of ice water, my phone, my ipad and my meds. My husband rocked and strapped on my grabber using velcro and I tied my strap (used to do PT exercises) to the front - also hung a bag on the side for larger items like my ice pack or magazines etc. I HATE depending upon others to help me but at times it is necessary - however this helped me ask a lot less of others while I was recovering. Wish I had bought this before my surgery.Worth the money even though I only used it a couple of months.

The walker basket was great for my father-in-law. He did pass away in July, but he was able to use this basket and greatly enjoyed being able to transport his stuff from the bedroom to the living room.

this is a wonderful product, I bought it for my mom, and she loves it. I would highly recommend this

My husband has a standard walker after breaking his leg. This was just what we wanted..Not too heavy yet holds enough. fits well on a standard walker.
