would this size be ok for a mini schnauzer as he's border 20lbs or would the larger be better?
What size would you recommend for a 17kg staff X or can I order both sizes and return one?
Do you get 2 sizes of mask with the small size inhaler? This is for my 10kg pug, unsure which size to go for. Any advice would be much appreciated
My dog is jrt xcairn, right on the small/large divide, can anyone recommend best size.

Don’t buy a cheap fake
My Dog has to have his inhaler twice a day and this is much better than the cheap inhalers as you can see if your dog is breathing the inhaler in as there is a filter that you can see as it moves men your dog breaths.

A necessary purchase.
Had to use this with my Labrador who developed breathing issues. It was used to administer his inhaler.It was easy to use and easy to see when he had taken enough puffs of his medicine.Regardless of the the high cost it was a necessary purchase and I don't regret buying it if it helped him in any way.He was my Anam Cara.

Very expensive ….
I bought for my yorkie with collapsed trachea … I also bought the cheaper version …which I might add seemed to work equally as good ….

Easy to use and clean
I’m a veterinary nurse and bought this for my elderly Labrador who has chronic airway disease. It’s sturdy, easy to clean and he took to it well with the aid of some calm training starting with putting the mask on and then straight off and rewarding him; then gradually building up the time. The medication he takes requires him to take up to 10 breaths so it’s worth putting the groundwork in first to get them used to it as ten breaths is a long time for a dog that’s panicking! The indicator is useful to help you count the breaths, then you take it off and reward. His cough has improved dramatically for having this but please note that the medication has to come from your vet on prescription and is not part of the package; it’s also not suitable for all types of airway disease so do discuss with your vet as to whether this is suitable before buying one.

Excellent for giving steroids to a small ill dog
The aero dawg chamber was recommended by my vet for giving steroids to my dog with an inhaler. She is a 15 years old westie diagnosed with 'westie lung'. She needs steroids to help with her breathing but given in tablet form they can give severe side affects. Given with an inhaler, using the aero dawg, significantly reduce d side affects to virtually nil. Would recommend the product 100%. It doesn't cause any distress to my dog and as she gets a piece of chicken after use, she is happy when she sees me get it out.

I have added the measurements of the inner nozzle dimeter 3cm of the size small mask and the outer is 4 cm it has a rolled back lip that helps the seal. Hope this helps"}},{"@type":"Question","name":"My dog is jrt xcairn, right on the small/large divide, can anyone recommend best size.","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"I have a Bichon. Also same as you. My vet recommended the larger mask as the smaller is more for cat sized dogs! You can try and see which one is best for your dog. The larger one lets them open that heir mouth a bit too. I find pressing inhaler before putting it to the dog is best - they don’t get scared by noise. I say medicine. Time and my dog rushes over, gets a treat, does his 7 or 8 breaths and then gets another treat. It’s super. \nGood luck."}}]}]}
