Have the quality issues been addressed?

It rather depends what you are looking for I think. If you are looking for a reasonable tool box that is in the main well made. Then this box fits the bill. If on the other hand you are looking for a high end or antique box then this won't be for you. In my view this does the job.

If you bought this and thought it was rubbish . Could you please explain why you did not return it ?. I am seriously looking to purchase this type

Very nice neat tool case for more professional quality tools. Bottoms of drawers are a bit thin. Otherwise OK, I did have to return the first one as it had been damaged in transit. Wished I had made one in Oak when I was an apprentice, so this was the next best thing.

Is sealey a British company

Sealey is a British brand but are mainly a supplier and very few of the tools come from Europe. I purchased the Machinist toolbox and I can safely say it is very poor quality. Cardboard draw runners and very cheaply made. Avoid.
