Bought these to cut dressing tape (bandages) and it wont. Blade is gritty and catches mid cut as if the blade has a notch in the middle of the blade. Tried to return for a refund and was unreturnable to.

These are very well made. The blades are keen and sharp, the tips are rounded so that they cannot pierce the skin, and the action is smooth when you cut with them. I am using these scissors to groom a long-haired cat who has many knots and tangles in his thick fur, and so far these scissors are the best tool I've tried.

The finish is a little bit crude, hence the loss of a star, but they work fine as medical scissors and I can recommend them as a cheap usable medical scissors..

THESE ARE NOT SURGICAL SCISSORS. They are dressing scissors, but they're perfectly adequate for that. They're sturdy, they're inexpensive, they're not fancy, but I don't need them to be. They cut things. 'Nuff said.

No rust yet, it works after several weeks of moderate use
