Absoloute bargain
I bought these heated grips after reading a lot of positive reviews, also due to the fact they were cheaper than the Oxford alternative. I received them a few days later and set about the task of fitting them to my bike. This product has a quality feel and seems well made with plenty of cabling and ties. The fitment itself was fairly straight forward although the grips were very slightly loose on the bars at first, I used some strong contact adhesive to ensure that once fitted they would remain in place. The wiring was self explanatory I personally would have preferred a relay setup to ensure that the grips are not left on with the ignition off but as the unit has a bright LED it should remind you.Once fitted you have plenty of options to hide the wiring behind the fairing and under the tank so that it looks like a professional install.I have been using these for a few months now and I rarely have to increase the heat from level 3 as this is very warm even through my thick gloves. I cannot recommend this product highly enough these are a fantastic investment.

R and G heated grips
My OXFORD grips packed up - again - this time after only 3 years use!! When I saw the price of OXFORD heated grips - £62 - I couldn't believe it. So looked for an alternative - and R and G grips came to my attention - and ordered them - £30. They fitted the bill perfectly. I had no trouble fitting them, they were quality made and worked perfectly. The heat range worked very well - increments of 5 power choices (illuminated led's) - 1 cool to 5 - very hot. 3 is more than adequate. On some of the reviews, it was mentioned that there were problems with tight fitting grips, breaking of cables etc...but this has to be down to whoever was fitting them. I had no problems at all. If you want quality grips at an affordable price - these are the ones. The only thing that I would recommend is that they are wired into the ignition side of a power supply rather than direct to the battery as they have no auto power cut off.

Great value grips
Really great product at a fantastic price - Fitted to a CBR 600 in next to no time, just had to cut the accelerator (right hand) grip down slightly to get it to fit. What I really like about it is that the control unit is nice and small so fits neatly on the yoke. Only downside is that there is no intelligent functionality to turn it off when the bike is not running, however at the price who can complain and it keeps your hands warm in the cold weather that we have had. 6 different heat modes which you need when wearing sports gloves but when wearing winter gloves you can just set it on it's highest setting. Good grips, very good for the price!
Fitted these heated grips to my XR125 and they have been doing the job.Easy fitting. I chose to wire mine into my headlight, aviods any problems with leavig them on by mistake and killing my battery. So putting them in took a little longer but well worth the extra effort of messing about behind my clocks. The control unit came with a handy adhesive pad that has worked a treat. My only complains are:-The grips were VERY snug on my bars, I had to use a soft mallet to get them on. This means they are secure but I doubt I'll ever get them off...-They do take 10 minutes or so to get hot in the cold. This is reasonable considering the price, so it doesn't bother me.-They don't get very hot unless you are holding the bars. Obviously needed when it's very cold, but without your hands around them, they lose heat very fast.Edit:It's now a year later and these grips are all but dead. They still get luke warm and take the chill off but their output is seriously down from when they were new.I'd say they are OK for the money but a decent set of Oxford grips aren't that much more and will probably last more than twice as long.

Oxford Hotgrips heat for very little money
Bought these for my Burgman 650, I've ridden all kinds of bikes and have always fitted heated grips and these are by far the hottest!Although, the cable thay runs into the throttle cable side came loose before I'd even fitted them so disappointing there but other than that they get nice and hot with the lowest setting being too hot sometimes!Maybe a word to be had with the QC side of the factory but other than that. Very happy.

Excellent value for money!
Having ridden bikes for 30 years (all year round), I finally succumbed to age/sensibility and bought a pair of these grips. They offer outstsanding performance and make a huge difference to riding the bike in the early hours of the morning. I have only used level 1 out of 5 as the other settings are too warm at this time of year and I'm confident that winter will be a lot easier than last year's apocolypse! In comparison to the £120 grips that I fitted on my wife's Harley, they beat them hands down!Top tips for fitting:1 Cut off the old grips by slicing down their length. 2 Remove the old glue. 3 Slide on with a dab of water if they're tight. 4 Use a smear of silicone if they're loose (especially on the throttle).Result = toasty hands.

Best value on the market!
Have two sets of these on two bikes (Xj600 and CB1100). Done >12k miles with one set. Will buy another one for any future bike. In my opinion they are better than the Oxford Hot Grips. The single-button operation is great, and installation is very easy if you have any basic knowledge on electrics and your bike.In winter I rarely go above setting 3 out of 5 in town, and I only use full power for initial heat-up and even long-distance in low temperatures I never go above 4 (will switch to 5 sometimes if heavy rain - good for drying out your gloves)Now some people do not realize - YOU NEED GOOD WINTER GLOVES to go with any heated grips! This is obvious to me, but apparently some people believe heated grips will allow you to ride bare handed or with shoddy cheap light summer gloves. Do not be surprised if your palms get toasted but outside is frozen then!Anyways I would buy them again and will buy for any future bike I might have.
