We trained our puppy using one of those metal hotel desk bells. The problem was, he couldn’t always make it ring and we couldn’t always hear it when he did ring. This device is awesome. It took about three hours for him to realize this was the new bell, and when he hits it, it goes off every time. I chose the fur Elise ring because it was long, and I would be able to hear it throughout the house. You can choose a number of rings and the volume. It was super easy to set up and I do not use any app with it. Just plug it in, pair it, and select the ringtone and the volume. You’re done in about three minutes.

quality materials, I was surprised how loud the bell is I can hear it from any place in my house. I recommend it to everyone, my puppy is learning how to use it, at first she had a hard time pressing it but got around it. the clicker is tough enough to resist there paws and strength but also sensitive enough.

This doorbell makes a great sound. It’s durable and easy to install. Unfortunately after a month of prompting our little 8 lb dog to ring the bell she just won’t do it!

Pretty straight-forward wireless doorbell. Push the button, the bell stations will "ring". Plenty loud. Good signal distance.

Thus I'm updating my review below to better reflect the product and not cause further confusion.Let me start by saying this does not connect to the internet. The one I got does work well as a door bell, it rings loudly and the chime can be changed. It's not too bad for the price, but the lack of connectivity with a smart home automation makes it less appealing and use useful to me.

We didn't have a doorbell for the longest time. The previous home owners just never installed one. I tried a wireless doorbell (runs on wifi) and that didn't work because those are mostly for use on 2.4gz networks and ours is a 5 because of the carrier. Anyway, this was the perfect solution because it was so easy. Just plug in the base and it rings through the "speaker" when the button on the door is pushed. The doorbell on the door is large so visitors can see it clearly and it also comes with a "please ring bell" sticker so they know what it is. I ordered the two receivers package with one base (the big button) so I have one plugged in my kitchen and one in the bedroom. The volume is adjustable and I have it set quite low because it is loud (!) at the highest setting. I have no problems hearing it in any room of the house between the two plugs. It is a nice color and blends well in the background. The only problem is my front door is white so it's a little difficult to see the white button. That is why I'm glad a sticker was included. I don't know if other colors are offered, but I wanted something neutral anyway. The exterior of the house is brick so that didn't work although you can mount it with screws if you need to attach to a wall or doorframe. It is definitely weather proof because just in the past week, we've had -15 degree days and about a foot of snow. No problem with the doorbell not working. The price is great for something that works well and does exactly what I need. I could also benefit by just carrying around the button for any emergency if I'm not feeling well (or anyone in my household) and someone could help me if necessary. I may order another, but I highly recommend for an easy to use bell kit.

I didn't realize that this was meant for pets but the technology behind the self powered door bell and plug in play chime really interested me in getting this for my parents duplex house where I live. The front unit doesn't have wiring for a doorbell and they aren't interested in having a smart videos doorbell so this is a great option. I used the included 3M adhesive to place it on their exterior wall next to the door frame. It included the sticker that glows in the dark letting visitors know to press the doorbell. It is a very nice and easy to press button, doesn't have a light but the contrast between the wall and the push button is very noticeable in the dark not to mention the glow in the dark sticker notice. The chime is easily able to fit in cramped spaces and plugs into the wall outlet very nice and has a wide range of tones and volume control. I'm very pleased that I don't have to worry about power reaching the outdoor button as it generates its own energy each time that it is pressed, so cool! I also like the look and esthetic of the chime and doorbell button, it looks very high quality like any name brand smart home gadget. I highly recommend this for your house or home set up if you don't want anything too complicated yet does a great job to notify you of visitors at your door.

The media could not be loaded.  we have a gate approx 150' from our door and don't want people coming in and potentially getting bit by our dogs so we put this up so people could alert us that they are there waiting on us to come outside and get them. i think they are a bit off on their predicted range i tried to put the receiver farther in our home and it wouldn't work it may be our walls I'm not sure but i put it by the front door and it works great there is a ton of different ringtones for you to choose from and even volume levels, this is truly a great door bell i recommend it to anyone who needs a door bell that works from 0-150 feet
