Fun kids science experiment
Really fun for kids to make. My 6 year old loved doing this science experiment. worked perfectly.

Dough is stickier than expected
Got for the kiddos to learn electrical concepts over the summer. The dough is a little stickier than playdoh, so a plate or mat not a table. Kids very much enjoyed making fun creations from it.

Family fun
After playing with a similar set at a STEM day I had to get these for my daughter. Lots of different things to do and has been fun for my 6 and 9 year olds as well as some 30 somethings. Highly recommend for a screen alternative “game” that will make you use your brain.

Note: This is the clay *only.*
I really like this product. My students enjoyed it, easily learned by using it and their imaginations are definitely sparked. Give it a try.A word of caution: This is the clay only.

Great kit to use with conductive dough
This was a great kit. We used this with the "Tech will Save Us - Electro Dough" My 5-year-old had a lot of run making circuits and make LEDs light up and the buzzer buzz. I'm tricking my daughter into learning one project at a time. We work on making videos for youtube but really she's learning and her grandma is watching videos of it. In the chance she becomes a Youtube star she at least learn something.

Gets kids instantly engaged
Our granddaughter of eight loved this gift. Her eleven year old brother wished he had received it.

Underwhelmed. Basic kit very limited; concept itself not great
My 10 yo son received the basic kit as a birthday gift. We were underwhelmed. I'm sure if I went back and read the product description very carefully I'd see that they didn't claim to include the insulating dough. However, without it it's really pretty hard to make much.So please understand what you're getting:Half a dozen large LEDs, a battery case, and a perfectly ordinary can of Play-Doh.Yes, you can make the insulating dough yourself, but if I was going to do that I probably wouldn't have bothered with the rest of the kit. Just buy a cheap box of LEDs and a battery.Really, in retrospect it's not that great of a concept. You can't create a permanent model, and even if you have the insulating dough where you can place your lights is very limited. If your kid is brand new to the idea of circuits this might teach and entertain for a while. But if they want to make something they can keep, there are other non soldering solutions to explore, like copper tape and "paper" circuits.
