We switched from plastic stir straws to these at my church a while back as part of a larger effort to improve the environmental impact of our cafe. Renewable + biodegradable is great, plus, these function well - stiff, smooth, don't splinter - and just look and feel a lot nicer than the red & white plastic. Price is right, it was a win for everybody. Would recommend 100%

A morning without coffee is like.....? These stirrers are outstanding. Smooth, no rough edges, no smell, sturdy with no bend or give when stirring. And they look good. 2 boxes will last forever for our break room. There are so many stirrers to choose from on Amazon with all sorts of reviews, but these truly were the right choice. Also, only a few that were mis-cut in the first box we're using, but that's to be expected. The rest, perfect.

They are exactly as described. Size is exact, and very consistent.They are quite strong for their size, unlike most plain wood stirrers that are thinner, much weaker, and easily splinter. And they are MUCH stronger than balsa.Great for identifying plants in the garden with a marker.I steamed one for a few minutes and bent it into a complete circle without it breaking or even splintering. You would need to use a form to make it a perfect circle.Unfinished so it should take a stain nicely.For my use they will look good with a clear waterproofing.I guess if I had to, they would make a good coffee stirrer, but kind of waste to use just them once....Great buy.

I actually purchased these not to stir stuff, but to scrape. The ends are flat and very sturdy to help scrape bolt faces and the insides of the action. Don't like using metal, plastic wears out too quick, but these bamboo are strong enough to scrape off cleaner resistance carbon, but yet will not damage even polymer components - let alone steel. Use and discard. Perfect.

While the criteria for these stir sticks - sturdy, value, durable, all are met, my only slightest issue is that they taste like bamboo when I lick off the creamer. Yes, I said lick off the creamer because that's what I do! The coffee does not have a hint of a bamboo flavor, just the stick itself. I'll get over it and maybe stop the annoying habit of licking the stick.

These bamboo stirrers are used by both my household and my son’s. We found that we were either running out of spoons, or buying too many plastic spoons. These stirrers are practical, economical, and good for the environment. I will continue to purchase.

I put these in a bit holding cup and noticed wood dust when I dumped them in. When picking up the holder and continuously shaking it up and down it kept producing a cloud of wood dust.

I actually bought these for work to replace the craptastic plastic things we normally have. These are sturdy and biodegradable and a great length. Great product!!
