The decals seem to stick well when sprayed with water but didn't really think about the drying time needed for them to be REALLY stuck! About 30-40 min. after applying we had a storm roll through and later on I noticed all of the decals on the upper windows were resting at the base of the window frame, doh! I will say I did have to spray more water on them to get them to release, so once they've had a chance to dry well I'm pretty confident they'll stay put....we shall see, it's raining again right now and so far they're all still in their original position! Getting the backing off was a MAJOR headache, as others have mentioned.... I tried the recommended scotch tape technique but had moved on to sticking on two pieces of stronger packing tape then pull in different directions but it still took many, many tries to get the backing off:( Hopefully these reflective pieces along with the white reinforcement labels we already had up will do the trick in avoiding any future collisions!

About 4 days in a row I woke up find these things all over the floor, or all over the deck. That's because I tried them front and back, inside and outside, dipping instead of spraying, impossible to get out air bubbles and I was so aggravated. I started a return! (While still trying)Their greatest flaw is also a really strong attribute. They are so thin that I thought I had not been sent enough. But the count ended up being correct. But they are also so thin that when I thought I was peeling the backing off of one, all I was peeling off was another decal. So I went to my default way of taking backing off of things and used tape. You know you put a piece on each side and then pull them apart? Well that didn't work. That didn't work about 10 times. When I got to packing tape, it finally worked! I had to show my husband because I was just in disbelief.Once I figured out what had been happening all this time, they went up in a snap. And basically I was just able to lay them against the window slowly and most of the air bubbles were already out of them. And I live on the 10th floor in Florida where my windows are pelted and abused by wind and rain often. Those sons of guns are not going anywhere.No projected colors whatsoever. When west sun pierces right through them, they are colorful but just have dark shadows, no pretty colors on the floor, bed, or wall.They brighten my day, every day.

Since I placed the decals, there have been no bird strikes on our large, living room window. There were several bird strikes daily before I placed the decals, including two fatal strikes the day I ordered the decals. The decals are attractive, showing rainbow colors s light passes through them.

These are amazing. We had numerous birds hit our windows since we moved into this house. we have tried several other options we read about and then came across these. WOW! They work. Not a single bird has hit our window in over 4 weeks and it used several birds a month! Life saver!

I am new to bird feeders and within a week of hanging the feeders 2 birds flew into my slider. I was determined that it would not happen to another. (Thankfully the birds were only dazed and after about 15 minutes flew away.) I found these window clings and they are great. Easy to apply. They have remained in place through several very windy and pouring rain storms. No more bird hits. It has been about 3 weeks since using. I highly recommend.

Okay. Maybe 2.5 hours as hubby and I took a break from peeling the backing film off the decals. After following directions, we found that using one piece of tape and your fingernail will — with considerable difficulty— release the backing film. Seriously, 5 star reviews? Tomorrow hubby and I will clean the designated windows and thoroughly spray them with water so the “Static Window Cling” decals will deter birds from flying into our windows. We’re questioning the permanency of the decals using water. If they don’t adhere, I’ll follow-up my review.

I got these at the suggestion of a friend. We have large windows and lots of trees in our yard. A bird would fly into our window at least once a week. I put these up about 3-4 weeks ago and we haven't had any birds fly into the windows since. They were very easy to put up, and all are still stuck to the windows with no curling or lifting off.

We've had these window clings up for over 9 months now. We haven't had any birds hitting our windows.
