I dont normally leave reviews but felt compelled to after getting these.
The original $180 price tag was what was scaring me off of these but finding refurbished for $80 bucks off pretty much sealed the deal for me. I have been a low to mid level Turtle Beach user for years, I got tired of the clamp force and weight on my head for longer sessions. I watched dozens of reviews for all kinds of different headsets and kept coming back to these. I game on PC coming from PS5 so I know it opened up my range of options but a big selling point for these to me was the dual connectivity. I can scroll youtube or social media while my game is loading and it will play both through the headphones at the same time. I can take or make phone calls, anything a Bluetooth beadset connected to your phone can do, all while still playing sound from my pc if I want. Another great feature is the chat mix. Sometimes it's difficult to juggle game sound or chat sound jumping in and out of a game or chat settings but there's a dial right on the headphones to be able to mute chat or game sound. They feel super light on my head and the clamp force is perfect to me. There is a rrally good range of adjustability. The quality is for sure upper level. The range is immense I can go anywhere in my house and still have connection. The Battery life is very good as well. If you're on the fence about them, watch a few youtube reviews and you will see a fair amount of people rate these near the top of range for the mid level wireless headphones. For the refurb price cut you can't really compare anything else in the $100 range. These are great value for the money.

Incredible!
Incredible headphones. They sound amazing, way better than the nova pro or 9x. I got these refurbished at a great price and couldn’t be happier. Best of the three steel series I’ve tried. Great wireless range, works through whole apartment, great dual connection between my Xbox and phone simultaneously, makes movies and hidden games way more immersive. I really can’t stress enough that they are great for the price range. They are the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn I can barely tell they are on my head even after many hours.

2 Steps short of being Perfect
Overall it's a big step up over the Arctis series in which I own the original Arctis 5's. Battery life is great and overall sound quality is top notch especially with the Steel Series GG software with has some really good EQ options. However there are 2 major annoyances.1. The connectivity is spotty with the dongle. It's very sensitive to electrical interference and the max distance is pretty poor compared to other competing headsets. You're actually better off using blue tooth which is kind of annoying if you plan on using it to connect to another device like your phone instead.2. Finding aftermarket ear pads is a PAIN. The ear cups are smaller than average headphones, so finding pads that fit are annoying because everything in the market will be oversized. DO NOT BUY replacement pads for the Nova Pro's expecting these to fit, as the Nova Pro's use proprietary connection buckles and these don't. The only true fit options I found are the Wicked Cushions and if you wear glasses, those suck for these headphones as it's really stiff and the clamp pressure is excruciating. Technically you can use ear pads for the ATH-M50x but they still will be slightly oversized. So if you don't plan on going far from your computer with these on, or if you don't wear glasses these are a easy recommend.

Great for gaming.
Wireless. Super long battery life. Hardly ever charge it. Sounds like you’re in the game. Bought one for my son as well. He loves his too. Comfortable around the ears for those long nights. It does have some weight but it’s super acceptable given this quality. It is hard to hear anything else in the room with you while it’s on. It allows you to just focus on the game. So keep an eye out for your wife…FYI if you don’t extend the retractable mic just a little, your squad my get some eco.

Good headset for cheap
Good refurbished headset honestly can’t tell the difference from new, over all the headset is great, better than the g733 by miles

Xbox gaming headset
I liked the comfort of head set. Seemed well built, sound was good. Retractable.muc pretty cool. Had switched from a Turtle.Beach Stealth 600 Gen2 Max that had broke.I didn't like the wireless set up with dongle and cable. Major issues with lagging, cutting out, echo in back ground reset multiple times,Per manual, move things, etc. . It would.work and go back to the echo, etc. Not great for.my setup. Ended up going back to turtle.beach, same model. No issues with wireless. I did get extra year warranty in case turtle.break again.

Far from “excellent”
I love the Arctis nova 7x headset. I own one already, which I bought new. I wanted to get a set for my fiancé, and I couldn’t pass up this price. When the set arrived, I immediately noticed that this particular set looked very used. The black paint along the metal band was peeling, the earmuffs were discolored, the fabric portion of the headband was stained dark and had lost most of its elasticity. The mics wire sleeve was cracked in one place. Comparing the sound quality to my set, I found the bass was lacking and the volume to be weak. Overall, the condition was far from “excellent”, and maybe worth $60. Tho I wouldn’t have even paid that much if I had seen the condition of this headset before purchasing. Very disappointed with these.

Sounds great, good battery life
Love that this pairs to both my Xbox and PS5. Sound is great and I don't have to worry about loosing charge mid game.
