My husband is 90 with a pacemaker 8.5 yrs and with dementia. I am 70, under a lot of stress due to his dementia and duties caring for our ranch by myself (and I am having a lot of baby ducks these days to care for too). His energy level increased, able to walk more without help. He is up earlier, started to lift dumbbells yesterday again (former weight lifter). He eats better too! SO... it is working GREAT for him. Me: I am a diabetic on insulin since 1980. Last few years have had problems with detecting sugar levels by my nervious system. Depending on a DEXCOM. So I see my levels immediately. Within a week when I take my shots I can get a high down so fast it is almost scary. Often it goes below what I projected unit taken/ per high sugar number I am trying to get in a normal range. I have a LOT more energy soon after I take my morning dose and must take my second dose early or I can't sleep due to feeling the energy. When I crash for bed... I CRASH too. Sleep better when I take the evening dose early. I weigh my high school weight, 114. I have developed heart issues due to the stress of my husband's dementia and due to 46 years of being an insulin dependent diabetic. After taking this supplement and only used this brand for almost a month, I still have some anxiety palpations, but when I just relax, I realize I no longer feel that sluggish heart feeling in my upper left collar bone area, the danger area for women to have a heart attack, so I am hoping it is helping my veins to relax and get cleaned up. I am seeing a heart dr who wants me to have an angiogram (Did I spell that right?) in a month and I want to extend that out and have more tests before I do extreme stuff to my body when possibly this is helping me get my vessels flexible again. I wish this product was not so expensive as compared to competitors. It's convienient to give to my husband and for me, it seems to be working on OUR energy, does not seem to be helping, yet, on memory for either of us, but with everything else we are doing including eating expensive fresh foods... it does add the cost of another meal everyday to our budget. I wish this was covered by insurance.

A little expensive, but it is actually helping at least as far as I can tell. I'm revising this review with some evidence that it is working for me: Firstly, I'm a 62-year-old male in relatively decent shape. I work out in my home gym 1hr+ each week day and 1/2 hr. on weekends. I very rarely miss a workout. I track myself on an Apple watch. I have maintained this pattern for about 5 years now. Before that I was 50lbs overweight and did not work out for quite a few years and obviously wasn't careful about what I ate. Okay, for Christmas I received a bottle of this product. I had my blood pressure taken at a Dr. appt. after using the first bottle. It was 102/60 which I was told is excellent. I've always had good blood pressure, but nothing like this. Secondly, for my 1/2-hour workout on Saturdays and Sundays, I run, in place, in my office/ gym. I do not have treadmill, so my metrics are me against me. I have typically 'run' about 3 - 3.5 miles in 30 minutes and burned about 400 - 430 calories in that time. After using this product for a month (and continuing to use it) I have seen significant improvement. I just finished a 'run' and ran 4.5 miles burning 598 calories. The only reason I didn't go farther and burn more calories is because I have 62-year-old bones and joints and I could tell I was going to injure myself if I exerted myself more. It was not due to a lack of energy. One more thing to note that I believe could be impacting my performance and the gains I'm seeing from using this product is that I have taken Vitamin K2 and Nattokinase for quite a while. It is my understanding that both of these supplement's help keep the arteries and veins clear. Also, in 2018 I went off all 'added' sugar except for 1 cheat day a week. I don't know, but I suspect that both of these things may have improved the efficacy of these lozenges. Oh, finally, as per Dr. Bryan's recommendations, I do not use a mouth wash and use a non-fluoride toothpaste. Good health all!

Was excited to receive! I love science based products. Price is not a problem when something does what it says and it does!!! Based on another review I did up my dose. I’m 264 lbs with hypertension. So until my weight comes down more I need the extra blood flow help to avoid the massive HA(heart attack and stroke) Taste is fine and it can make your tongue and roof of mouth raw, but it’s a great trade off for the results. I mean it’s nitric oxide so of course a slight burning feeling makes sense. I’ve ordered 2 more since I’m doubling the dose. Maybe when my weight is lower and my BP is lower I can take the recommended dose. Got an extra bottle for my BF too!

This stuff works pretty well. It does seem to make my gums rough like burning your tongue feeling. Also the price is super high for a product that you need once a month.

These tablets consist of two ingredients (plus neutral filling): sodium nitrite and magnesium ascorbate. Sodium nitrite, NaNO2, also known as E250, is commonly used as food preservative in cured meats (ham, bacon, sausages, deli meats). It is known to be a health risk because in the stomach, or during high-heat cooking, it can react with amines to form nitrosamines, many of which are carcinogenic. It is completely banned in Canada, Norway, and Sweden, and restricted in Europe to limits between 55 and 105 mg/kg of meat. In the USA, FDA allows up to 120 to 200 mg/kg of meat products. Moreover, here in USA, it is required to also include sodium ascorbate (vitamin C) to reduce the likelihood of reaction with the formation of nitrosamines. Magnesium ascorbate is a buffered vitamin C because it has almost neutral pH when dissolved in water. It is used in herbal supplements and for all practical purposes reduces risk of formation of nitrosamines just the same way as sodium ascorbate would. It also brings magnesium, a valuable dietary supplement, but in this case amount of Mg is too low to be of much value. Hence, the content of this dietary supplement is pretty much the good old meat preservative. MEAT PRESERVATIVE. One lozenge contains 220 mg of N1O1 proprietary blend. The label shows 164 mg of vitamin C (from magnesium ascorbate) and 12.8 mg magnesium (from magnesium ascorbate), hence we have 176.8 mg of Mg(C6H7O6)2, and this leaves us with 43.2 mg of sodium nitrite. I bought it because I read the book by Nathan Bryan. His idea is to bring to the market an easy to digest nitrite which can be taken by the mouth to be converted to NO in the body. While I very much appreciate his insights, these lozenges did not work for me. I had burning sensation in my mouth and was drooling saliva for over 24 hours after a single tablet. Maybe I am super sensitive… but these are typical symptoms of chemical burn with sodium nitride (and not with vitamin C, as description says, which would not cause salivation). Now, lets do simple math - 43 mg of sodium nitride in a single lozenge is a maximum amount of preservative allowed in half a pound to a pound of deli meat or sausages in the U.S., or close to maximum amount allowed in two pounds of processed mean in Europe. Wow! Regarding the effect… My blood pressure decreased by 12 mm Hg for about 1-2 hours after taking it. But freshly squeezed beet root juice decreased it by 12 mm for 3-4 hours… so no major advantage there…. The last but not the least, why it should not be just swallowed? This is because formation of carcinogenic nitrosamines is more likely in acidic stomach than in the mouth with almost neutral pH, so it is helpful to have initial reaction between ascorbic acid and sodium nitrite in water (saliva) in the mouth. I cannot explain why it is not recommended to just dissolve this in water and drink it. So, what we get here, are lozenges of meat preservative, restricted in maximum concentration or banned worldwide, served in large dozes, a tablet a day is like a pound of processed meat a day. By the way… Food grade sodium nitrite costs about $1.20 - $1.30 per kg, whereas food grade magnesium ascorbate goes for up to $30 per kg. Doing easy math, cost of food preservative (which is what these tablets are) in 60 tablets is 32 cents. Sold for $60. Just wow! I am throwing this bottle away. Thank you, Dr. Bryan, but no. Not for me. Not food preservative in large doses sold as dietary supplement.

Tried this product after watching an interview with the creator. I believe these in combination with other supplements are helping in overcoming health troubles. Maybe. Thing is, they are way overpriced. And I’m tired of getting gouged at every turn by industries and individuals seeking to achieve opulence off people simply needing to heal from damages done by those having that same greedy mindset. Money at any cost to others. Free ride. Makes me question whether anything this man says is true. I mean, if one’s own lust for money is allowed to supersede integrity, might the rest of us truly expect him to self impose limitations regarding honesty? Could be my improvement is due to other supplementation and activity. Guess I figure it out. In meantime, wish I could solidly recommend this product. But I can’t do so comfortably. And it adds up to alotta money to be throwing out the window in uncertainty. And this may be how greed backfires.
