Fits well, warm and comfortable

This women’s winter casual padded jacket came vacuum packed and with instructions to hang it in sunshine and give it light beating to fluff it up a bit after opening. Unfortunately at the moment it is winter at the moment and we were unable to follow this particular instruction.The jacket is made from 100% polyester. It feels quite warm to the touch. We ordered a small size. The length is bomber jacket style. The sleeves seemed quite long and at least that kept my wife’s hands toastie. However, as a ‘medium’ sized person I tried the jacket on and even on me the sleeves were quite long.The pockets were closed by very large substantial zips which zipped up tight. Just so you know, there’s no hood concealed in the collar area.The khaki colour isn’t a deep colour and seems to have a hint of pink about it. But it’s fairly pleasing on the eye.The warmth factor is quite good. It hasn’t rained since we’ve had the jacket so can’t comment on how waterproof or not it might be.The instructions suggest hand washing or a low temperature machine wash, but we’ve not had it long enough to test out what the results will be from a wash. The item is put together quite nicely and stylishly women of all ages could wear this according to my wife.A practical warm coat, particularly useful for winter/autumn use.

A very warm and comfortable jacket. Quality material and well fitting

I had a longer jacket recently in the same style of this. It was a puffy jacket but it had a few cuts in it so it was time to move on. I thought I'd like this, and I do - but it's very short which takes getting used to.First things first, I'm a size 8 (on the larger side). I got a size small, but it actually feels a little bit too big in this size. I would probably try an XS in the future to be truer to size.It's a nice jacket. It's very, very warm and cosy on, with a soft inside and puffy outside. It sits above the hips, with long arms and no hood.When wearing this on dog walks, it definitely kept me lovely and warm. If you keep it on in the rain for prolonged amounts of time, it will get wet and eventually start sucking in the rain. But, for a quick dog walk you won't end up getting too wet.I really like the rich chocolate colour of the jacket. However, I will say that the shape isn't very flattering for me personally. Whether it's because I'm 5'4" and I'm a bit shorter than others, I'm not sure, but I think I'd rather to have a longer jacket personally.So, overall, it's really nice. Possibly on the slightly larger size but if you prefer it like that then this is for you. For somebody who likes a bit of shape I don't like it as much, but the quality is there and I've had no issues with zips, tears of anything else so far.

This is now one of my favourite jackets. It's beautiful and looks great with a pair of jeans. It's a soft material and comfortable to wear. I find it to be on the warm side for a jacket, I wasn't able to sit and wear it in the car as I got too hot despite it being winter. It's more of a pastel mint green than a grass green as it is called but is very close in colour to what the picture shows. I have not washed this one yet so will need to update on how it washes in the future. The zip is good quality and easy to use, and overall the whole coat feels very nice quality.

Lovely warm jacket, really like the colour which I would call warm Caramel and not Khaki. I would say the photo on the advertisement is a true representation of the colour I received.The jacket came vacuum packed and within a day the jacket had lost the creases and looked good.I ordered a medium and I am normally a size 12, the jacket is a bit big for me in the body and because the sleeve cuffs are designed to come over the top of the hands, it makes the jacket look even bigger on me, as though I have borrowed a jacket from someone who is larger than me.I am only 5ft 3 I find the style a bit boxy for my body shape, this is personal preference. I prefer a design where its more shaped at the waist and or longer in length as the style of this jacket makes me look shorter and squarer than I am already, that said, if you like this style I can recommend the jacket as being made in a nice soft material and lovely warm colour and also warm when wearing it.

The jacket zips right up with a wide collar so it can even cover your mouth. The arms are long with wide elasticated cuffs and the jacket comes down to the waist. There is a draw string which pulls tight around the back of the jacket and there are zipped pockets either side.Made from 100% Polyester (including the filling) it is machine washable at cold temperatures, which I assume will be 30°C, the filling and padding are not too thick, this keeps the weight down making it quite a light jacket, it is wind-proof but not waterproof, so great for a windy or cold day but not so good in the rain.The jacket looks quite good, although it appears to be stretched at the front and baggy at the back, there is a rather chunky zip up the front and on the pockets too. I am a UK medium size, but I ordered the large to be on the safe side, it fits quite well and there is plenty of room for an extra layer or two underneath.Overall, I am quite pleased with this jacket, its comfortable, roomy, and light, it is more of a windy jacket to keep the chilly winds off and looks stylish too.
