Unfit For Any Dog That Likes Having A Ball Thrown For Them To Chase And Fetch
A very disappointing hard, shiny bit of plastic, with no give in the surface at all. How the suppliers can claim it is fit for "interactive" play beats me.Even if you can get it into your hand to throw, it would be like launching a rock, but with a hollow centre. No bounce to it at all on any surface. The "small" that I ordered is too big for my fully grown Retriever, and who in their right mind thinks of throwing something that might hurt anyone if accidentally hit?If your dog likes chasing / worrying something round on the ground, then this might be for them, but the hard plastic won't absorb any of their smell, and so become "theirs".I have to question if whoever designed this even owns a dog.Very disappointed indeed.

Really is indestructible, my dogs favourite toy!
I originally bought this same ball in a shop a few years ago and it became my staffys most loved toy. He is obsessed with it, he will run around with it for hours if you leave him with it, nudging it around with his nose, batting it around with his paws even kicking it with his back paws. It took his easily over a year to learn to pick it up as it is just as big as his mouth. He is inseparable from it, we affectionately call it Ball and Rocky knows exactly where to go when we ask where Ball is.The material is hard plastic and it really is tough, it's never lost its shape or been damaged but it does get scratched and scraped. The only reason I bought a new one is because my other half threw it up the garden and it got lost over on the neighbours garden!I have 2 dogs and my other one is not interested in it at all as she likes to destroy toys and this toy is far beyond her level!

Dog un-interested as he can't pick it up - just designed to be rolled around
We have a terrier-collie cross who loves to chew and loves balls. An indestructible ball seemed the answer. The packaging says "Make sure it is large enough not to be picked up in your dog's mouth". My dog, who loves to play, is utterly uninterested. The packaging says it is "designed to withstand rough push and play" and "floats too". So it is only for pushing around a floor or water. It isn't my definition of a ball play with a dog and I wish I hadn't wasted my money.

Wrong first impression
We are searching for a ball that our corgi/staffy cross won't destroy within 10 minutes, so we thought we would give this a go. When we received it we were disappointed and almost sent it back - it is a big blue plastic ball, not chewy, and we didn't think she would like it. How wrong we were! I finally took it out of the packaging and rolled it across the floor, and the dog went wild. She spent a good hour chasing it around the kitchen floor because collapsing with exhaustion. We have to kick it every now and retrieve it when it gets wedged under the kitchen cupboards, but she loves it. I don't know how long it will last because she is scrapping her teeth over it and and there are some pretty big gouges, but it is her longest lasting toy. Whenever we let her play with it she goes mental. It works especially well in the snow! We will definitely purchase another one when she destroys this one (I know it is suppose to be indestructible but I don't think that is realistic with a staffy)!

Suprisingly sturdy!
Despite my initial reservations (it does seem rather brittle and 'plasticky' upon first inspection!) This ball has held up very well with my two boisterous border collies, who generally love a good chew at the first chance they get! Whilst I may sound ridiculous describing a ball as 'round', I think the shape paired with a very smooth surface means my girls haven't managed to chew it to shreds (yet!). They generally love to chase it around the house so I can't say it gets thrown a whole lot. I'll update in due course but so far it's a hit!

Excellent
My FoxRed Lab can destroy a standard tennis ball in 30 seconds. These last weeks even if you leave them with him to chew on 24/7. Tooth scars on the balls can be a little sharp but this is a small price to pay for long term survival under impossible circumstances compared to all other balls I have tried. (Chuckit balls are the only other viable option - solid rubber balls are gone in under 20 mins!)

Small is too big for a 7 kg dog
The small size is too big for a small dog. The ball doesn't fit in the dogs mouth. The ball is ment to be rolled around. The ball has no bounce aa its a plastic hallow ball.Despite the picture you only get one ball.

Unretrievable.
These were bought for my Staffordshire bull terrier who loves to chew. Unfortunately the ball was too large and solid for her to enjoy. She wasn't even able to pick the ball up to retrieve it.
