Presto 07118 Tuxedo™ Digital Precision Skillet Multi-Cooker

I ordered this Skillet at a time when I was waiting for a stove replacement and rebuilding of my kitchen. It does everything as advertised. I love this product and would recommend it to my friends. I will be purchasing another one in the near future for a gift.

Love the size and the way it cooks.

This is, basically, a 12 inch electric skillet that is a bit deeper than most. It has a mediocre nonstick finish (for the price I would expect granite type). The heating element is the usual circle (I had hoped for even heat across the bottom). As a result, food tends to catch and scorch in that circle. That is probably where the coating is most likely to fail, even with babying. I find the temperature rage to seem much higher than what displayed. A couple burned bottoms taught me that. If I had something to bake, I would cut it back 50-75 degrees, even using the little rack provided. You really have to play it by ear. I use it all the time, but constantly readjust the temp.

Heats up fast. Works great.

This is a nice little cooker and could be useful in many instances such as if you have a small apartment/dorm, need extra 'burners' for cooking a large meal, are participating in a pot-luck, and more. Seems to heat evenly and cook well.

The media could not be loaded.  It is an excellent and practical digital fryer for the multi-use kitchenIt measures 12 inches, making it excellent for the family in the kitchenDurable and easy to use, especially setting the temperature digitallyI noticed that cleaning it takes time because it is one piece, the pot and the thermal floor that cooks and heats the foodIt is excellent as a frying pan, but it must be taken care of wellFast, powerful, and cooks perfectly with good heat distribution

I really love this electric skillet. It reminds me of the one my Grandma had for about 20+ years when I was growing up. I find it to be really versatile, and I love that it’s both my skillet and “stovetop”, so to speak. It means less cleanup for me. I have been using it multiple times a week because it is so convenient and easy to use. Between my air fryer and this, I have hardly used my oven range in several weeks.This electric skillet feels nice and solid, and sturdy. When it arrives you have to assemble the handles, but that is very easy to do. It just takes a few minutes. The lid is tempered glass and has a vent. The skillet is nonstick and cleans up really easily. I love that you can increase the temperature by 1° increments, up to 205°, and then from there it goes up in 5° increments. The skillet heats quickly and it cooks evenly. It is deep enough that you can cook liquids and sauces without worrying about it spilling out easily. It also helps with the items that “spit” at you. It is really versatile. I have used it to pan fry, sauté, steam, and simmer different foods and it worked really well with each dish. I haven’t tried the other options, but I plan on getting to all of them at some point.I was a little put off at the price at first ($129.99). However, I find this skillet to be so useful and easy, and I think it is something that will last a long time, so I feel like the price is comparable to what you are getting. Also, Presto has a long history, so you know you are getting a quality product.
