NOT a blackout backdrop
Despite what the Amazon chatbot says, this backdrop is not opaque. If you're only going to use it in "front-lit mode", then it should work just fine. But if you're expecting it to block light (as in the situation where there is a window behind it) I would say it's 90% opaque - you can still see light through it. Otherwise, it lives up to it's description.
